customize items in store order
We have store items (ie name badges) that members need to be able to specify the name. It would be beneficial to be able to identify/flag these items and then ask for purchasers input.

Wordpress widgets for Store Catalog and Cart gadgets
For organizations using WordPress or other tools for their website, availability of widgets corresponding to the new Store gadgets is essential, but not sufficient, for the Wild Apricot Store is to be considered.
Far more Store functionality must be available, as noted in other Wishlist entries on this forum, for the Store to be usable by many organizations.
As noted elsewhere, it seems the Store was "pushed out" before it was ready in an effort to justify the recent substantial price increase. In its present form and on its own, its not enough.4 votes -
Storefront: show regular price to visitors, special price to members
We have been looking into using the new storefront.
Something that I mentioned to one of your tech reps was the issue of showing MSRP and Member pricing on each product.
The main problem is that you will find many suppliers have MAP pricing which is the minimum you are allowed to advertise their product online. We and probably other people using your sites, offer some items at a better discount than MAP to some of our member levels so this is an issue. Showing only MSRP to the general public would solve this issue. And then if possible show…4 votes -
Hide out of stock items
There should be a configurable option to hide items that are out-of-stock from the store. Have a configuration item either at the store widget level or at the product level to "hide items with 0 inventory". This would apply to 1-of-a-kind items or limited issue items. As it is, an admin has to go in an remove those items when the inventory hits 0.

Set reply to email as different from Organization Contact in Store
I manage the store, and would like to be able to set myself as the reply-to email for all store emails WITHOUT having to change the organization contact.

Payment instructions for online store invoices
Invoices from the online story do not have payment instructions (like other invoices do have). So people receiving store invoices don't know how to pay (unless details are put in each invoice manually.) Could the store invoices also please have a payment instructions field?

store categories and security and options
The store is new and basic... Still works great and simple which is best... But needs a few enhancements. 1.) better ways to organize products maybe by categories or some kind of groupings we can control 2.) better security, ie restrict not just by member but by member level and public/nonpublic like in events 3.) options with up-charge/multiplier field also like in events...

Additional detail on "Order" page
We just started using the online store this year and think that on the "Order" page there should be a tab for the "Item purchased" We have a few different sponsorship opportunities going on and in order to see who purchased what we have to go into each order (which is tedious).

unique emails
Custom Unique Emails for Store Purchases. Example: We sell online courses (not through WA Store) and when the customer purchases the course they get an automatic email with the link to the specific online course they purchased. Sending a manual email after the purchase does not work for us or our customers. We would like to use the WA Store, but currently can not, due to this issue.

Map contact fields to shipping address
Ability to map our customer's address information stored in Contacts to the Ship To: address fields that appear when a store order checkout is being performed. Include the ability to overwrite the address if desired by our customer.

Online store delivery needs option to charge by percentage of item price
Much of our shipping costs can be handled as a percentage of the item's price, e.g., 20% of price is delivery charge. Need an option to calculate the delivery fee by percentage of product's price.

OBO (or best offer) option in the store
There should be an option for items in the store in addition to price. A checkbox to accept "or best offer". When checked, allow the buyer to post the price they would pay and allow the administrator to accept, reject, or counter.

Add options for digital products, e.g. different formats for e-books
We are a bookstore/publisher - and we sell a physical version plus 3 digital versions (mobi, epub and pdf) of each of our books. With the current design we will have to make FOUR separate products for every ONE book/product we sell (i.e. three for digital and one for physical).
We are absolutely thrilled to see you have added digital products, Thank you! Unfortunately, for most people selling digital products, most of us will need to offer 3 different versions of the digital product, and for many of us, a physical version as well...

We would like the ability to set a minimum value for an order in the online store before allowing the buyer to check out.
If the buyer buys $1.00 worth of merchandise it is not worth it to us with the credit card fees, etc. We would like to specify that they order at least $5.00 worth of books before they can check out. Thank you.

Control over email notification for individual units in the online store
Hi, We'd like to be able to sell self-published books for our members. In order to streamline this we'd like to be able to stipulate a third party email to be notified of the particulars of sale, for each individual unit in the store.
That way the authors could remain responsible for delivery and we wouldn't have to collect all their stock and keep it here, or individually contact them every time a unit sells to ensure timely delivery.2 votes -
add to cart needs better feedback than only changing the number of items in cart.
When someone adds a product to the cart, the only feedback is that the view cart on the page shows an incremented number. this is so small that people will likely not see it and think nothing happened. There needs to be feedback that explicitly lets the user know their item was added. There are lots of established ways to do this.

It would be greatly helpful to allow a split of stores so that each store can set up settings based on if it is merchandise or service.
Please set the store up to be able to group products and then set the settings based on those products within the group. For example, I am trying to add a service for purchase and would like to have the emails different from other merchandise for sale. I also would like merchandise to be purchased online only, but allow the services to be purchased online or offline due to the larger fee charged. I also would like the information requested, like shipping or other information, to be able to be customized by groupings. Thank you!
