An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedCindy, Nia - thanks for comments and votes. It helps to prioritize the requests higher. But currently we have a limited set of resources and we have to prioritize. Our current plans are published here - http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Product+roadmap
We'll get to this particular suggestion at some point, just not right now.An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedRe auto-archival - see separate post http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8826262-way-to-automatically-remove-or-hide-blog-post-as
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedI realized that there have to be also relative options to setup date/time - i.e. hide in 2 months or publish in 1 week.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedWhat do you think of the following
1) Simple change
on new blog post page we add simple checkbox right after date/time controls with label "Hide until this date/time". If selected, the post is not shown to anybody except admin until the date. Admin sees special label (Hidden) near title of each of such posts.
2) more advanced
add 2 new options:
Publish on: (*) Immediately () [ date ] [ time ]
Hide on: (*) Do not hide () Hide now () [ date ] [ time ]Each option is a radiochoice that defines when the post should be published and when hidden. Default options keep the same behaviour as now.
Again, each hidden post (not published yet or hidden) has special (Hidden) label near title so admin can distinguish them from other posts.
Any comments?

Can be done using Theme overrides functionality – by fixing HTML code in the gadget templates. But I’ll be collecting comments to see if suggested user-friendly functionality needed by others.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedWalt - in themes override you can download zip file for your current theme and there you will see gadgets templates, including for event summary. It's quite simple if you have HTML knowledge. Otherwise, it's not easy and won't be able to explain it here. You can, alternatively, post a question on out Designers forum where someone may help you.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedCurrently, you can easily workaround this by using Theme overrides functionality and changing HTML templates of the gadget.

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedHenry, this is exactly what this suggestion is about - when we start working on it, we most probably redesign current behaviour and remove this difference between renewal and level change. During renewal process anyone will be able to change current level if he wants.
Still, this is not not in work.
Evgeny Zaritovskiy supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedAn error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedHi - no, no progress so far. I see no workaround as of now on that as this change involves modification to internal code responsible for finances.
This feature is in our Roadmap for this year, but it may not fit after all.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedI'm not sure I understand "We would like to set the membership level change based on their renewal date and not the date of the level change.". Can you please elaborate a little bit more? May be, an example?
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commented" At this point, the software has just bumped the renewal date forward by 1 year BUT it doesn't give the option to generate an invoice"
Actually, it's a little bit different. If new level policy is defined as "Join date" (not specific date), then when you edit member records and change a level, system updates renewal date field - not when you save it, but right after you changed a level in the dropdown. Also, if you change status to "Pending - Level change" and save it like that, system will suggest to generate invoice.
So, as a workaround for now (it's going to be a while until we make a change here) I would suggest the following:
* Admin clicks "Edit" and gets to contact editing screen
* changes level to another one (do not click Save yet), renewal date field automatically updated to new one
* checks renewal date and sets it to required one (if needed)
* changes status to "Pending - Level change"
* clicks Save
* System opens contact details screen with yellow box containing "Generate invoice" field
* Admin clicks the button, new invoice screen is open
* enter all required details (if needed - amount and other details are already filled in)
* check "Payment received in full" in the bottom right corner
* click Save
* Invoice is created and it's marked as paid.
* If you need to email receipt to a member, click on "Settlement details" in the invoice, payment details are open
* Click "Email" and follow the workflowIt's not that bad if you try ))An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThanks, Larry.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedPlease keep in mind that we change our plans all the time depending on the situation. Currently, we are working on a very big change into our content management module and it takes a lot of efforts from us. There are chances that we will have to bring more development resources to complete the change in this year and this would mean that other planned features can be postponed.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedI understand, thanks for comments.

Concurrent membership is not something easy to implement - it would require fundamental redesign of how membership works in WA. However, I have couple of thoughts here that I wanted to hear your feedback on.
As I understand, there are 2 sides of the problem:
1. Collecting additional dues for services. E.g. Member is associate and board member, so you need to collect both dues.
- This can be addressed using our extra fields functionality. Maybe it's a bit clunky, but it should work. E.g. setup associate member as primary membership and add extra charge checkbox for being a board member.
- You can easily filter down any members you need with advances search by that extra field.
2. Setting correct permissions on website pages - here there's no workaround we could suggest, but adding permissions based on saved searches seems to feasable option.
Am I missing something? Will the…
Evgeny Zaritovskiy supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedMost probably we will not be able to do it exactly the way you asked it for - have 2 different WA accounts covered by single payment plan. But I can see that your requests corresponds to another one - concurrent subscriptions. Merging there.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedYou can create additional registration type of Chapter Presidents only. Why doesn't it work out for you?
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThanks for comments - this is in our queue but no change is expected in 2011. Not sure about 2012

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedsean - not sure, what you mean. Currently event administrator can send emails to event attendees. Or what is "event host" in your case? Is it a non-admin person?
UPDATE: I saw your comment here - http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/9478500-multiple-organizers-for-a-single-event - this clarifies it.

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThis was rescheduled to January 2016 - our development team cannot keep up with original schedule.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedJenn - thanks for sharing. As you could have noticed, it has been already scheduled for release 5.7 which is planned for December, see our http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Product+roadmap
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedNo updates yet.
The order shows item priority in the roadmap - e.g. item is defined as important, by analysis and design has to be done before development. Development is working in order of priorities, but only with the items that are in dev queue.
Exceptions can happen though - sometimes, we can work on less important items due various to internal reasons.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedI understand you frustration, but this is what we say on our Roadmap page: "For your convenience, we also provide our best guess regarding release dates, but note that these can change at any time". This is exactly what happened, I updated the status of the roadmap to reflect what is currently in development and the nearest sure plans.
I understand that this is important for you and a lot of other people and this is why this request is in Roadmap at all (comparing to other ~800, which are not). Still, there a number of other requests that have higher priority in our list, they sit longer in our queue, more customers requested them, etc.
We will get to this one as soon as it's time for it. I cannot promise any specific date.

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedSorry, no workarounds.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedIf you speak about limits on event registration then check this thread - http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8825575-limit-number-of-selection-for-individual-registrat
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedIt did not fit into 5.2, current plan is to put into next (5.3) release.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedNext year.
It's been designed already, just sitting in the queue and waiting for 5.0 release, then our developers will start working on it.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedSorry for that - we understand the usefulness of this feature, but we are just doing some other important things right now. Anyway, this one is very high in our priority list but still in a wait queue.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThis is a very "hot" candidate but in any case will not be able to release it in March 2012

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedNiroja - actually, I found another suggestion of yours and I realized that I might not understand properly what you were suggesting. Do you another website where you have integrated Wild Apricot and you want Wild Apricot to track the pages that you members are visiting on this site?
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedHi, Niroja! Thanks for the suggestion. I changed the title of the suggestion so it can better reflect what you're proposing.

Thanks for sharing, we’ll be collecting comments for now.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThank you for replying, Jarren.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedMy fault - it does. So, then what I suggested can be a workaround for now: create an "Admin only" event and use it as a template for new events.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedWhat if we improve our event copying process and would properly copy all event registrations, their settings, etc.? This way, you can have a "template" event and just copy it each time you want to create a new one.

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThanks for the details, Edie. Why don't you want to set them up as "members" on a special level? This way you can also provide them special access to some web pages, for example.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedCan you please elaborate with a practical example / real life scenario? Otherwise, it's not clear for me what you're asking for.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedIn the very next release 4.3 there will be a way for any contact to pay manual invoice online. So admin can issue manual invoice, send email and the contact will be able to open link and pay it online.
I would like to get comments related to sponsorship after we have published this change - so we can discuss how we can use it for sponsorship invoices.

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedI'm not sure how the title of the suggestion is connected to the description. Do you want to exclude some pages from search or do you want to navigate to particular part of the page when clicking on search results?
Good suggestion, but it would be hard for us to develop custom chat or voice chat software. But we may integrate with some existing ones in future.
