We have started analysis for this issue, and it seems that key problem is how Wild Apricot handles level changes close to renewal date. The system is currently designed to collect the full new level amount and set renewal date according to new level renewal policy. All prepaid amounts for old levels are disposed. Moreover, since no prorating occurs, the new level might be effective only for a few days.
As a first step, we suggest to redesign how level change is working and add prorating there:
- Level would be changed immediately, as now - Remaining portion of old membership level payment will be applied to new level - For new levels with specific renewal date (e.g. annual levels with renewals Jan 1st) apply the pro-rating settings for new applications: - Allow member to pay only a pro-rated amount of the new level fee (e.g. six months before renewal…An error occurred while saving the comment Steve Smith commented
Another issue we have observed with level changes is that it changes the "Member Since" date to the date when the level change was made. One common use case for us are members who upgrade an individual level to a bundle and get charged a complete level fee. It would be better to charge the difference as a prorated amount. Feel free to reach out for interview, if needed.

There should be selectable options to retain Members Since and Renewal Date when changing levels. This benefits clubs that have membership levels that are different terms, but is a continued membership.

C'mon WA developers... this wishlist item has been in the queue for over 10 years. A single member of a bundle not being able to register other bundle members for an event is one of the bigger complaints for our members.

Any member of a bundle should be able to include others in same bundle when registering for an event.

Yes.. please add this. This is how other carts work. Where to enter the Discount Code now is not intuitive. Users need to scroll to the bottom of the Membership Change screen to enter the Discount Code.

This simple feature add will provide added value to registration reports. We also have member specific data that can not be common due to different membership levels. We wish to be able to pull registration reports to show membership level and club member number to be printed on event credential badges.

If implemented, the tagged time metadata should be a text string in standard time format and include the time zone since calendar event time posted is based on selcted time zone within the event. For example: <starttime>4:00 PM EST</starttime>

It would be desirable for extras to have an expiration date prior to when the registration period ends.

To be able to target Event Visibility based on a saved Contact or Member search. This would be an easier and additional option to using Member Groups. An alternative would be to allow creating of Member Groups based on saved Contact or Member searches.

We have same desire to limit mobile member directory to specific membership levels (i.e. paid members only). The web based directory can be level access limited. Can this be expanded to app accessed directory?
