Make pictures in Slideshow gadget clickable - add text and links to them
The current slideshow widget only allows rotating images. This is fine for many purposes but for the purpose of a home page content slider having the ability to add text and links to each slide would greatly improve this widget. I'm sure almost every Wild Apricot user could benefit from this.

We are happy to announce that this feature is released. Please check it out.
Now you can associate pictures in slideshow with links through slideshow gadget settings. You can link pictures to custom links, site pages or events.

I am using Wild Apricot's slideshow gadget. The photo won't display. It keeps spining from photo1, photo2 ..... last photo.
Even though my photo is a very small size 95K. Something wrong with this slideshow gadget. -

I found this on the help pages that show you how to make the images in a slideshow clickable. Just tested it out and seems pretty easy to add.

Nivo slider sucks. My advisory board can't believe that I put something up with the words "prev" and "next" on the picture. I found this: http://www.menucool.com/javascript-image-slider#html1 but I can't seem to figure out where to hack the header code to get it working.
Please, developers, please. Add clickability to the slideshow or help us implement a better solution.

Please! I use the slider for selling ad space and I currently can't charge that much for it because it doesn't link to the advertiser's website.
