Express invoice settlement in admin financial transactions. The current admin finance forms to record the payment then settle the unsettled invoices one at a time until the funds are used up is somewhat slow. It would be preferable to have a check box model like that in profile/finances payment screen.
The user story is that an organization is transitioning from offline payment to online payment and needs to be able to efficiently support both processes (we're 1000 members creating 8000 or so registration invoices to settle per quarter).4 votes

Under Payments and refunds report it should give $totals. For example if I am using it to sum up the cheque deposits for that day I can record cheque payments but have to export to excel to get a sum of those cheque payments for the day.1 vote
We ABSOLUTELY need to be able to resurrect/"un-void" invoices that have been expired. It is possible that a member mails a check and it arrives after due date, but I will honor the post mark if it is before the deadline. I want to be able to "un-void" an invoice, and not need to generate a new one.5 votes
Would like options to set auto emails for open invoices other than just membership invoices. ie: events and manual invoices created when open for 30/60/90 days etc. the system should auto email the invoices again. It is too cumbersome to expect users to manually send each one.4 votes

When members redeem a specific DISCOUNT, they are automatically added to a specific GROUP which can be assigned by and ADMIN at creation of the discount2 votes
It would be helpful if Wild Apricot offered the option to automatically assign a certain transaction type with an income code.
We currently add the income revenue buckets that we use to the transactions on a monthly basis, and this would save us a lot of work!
It would be helpful if, for example, we could assign all revenue from membership dues for both new and renewing members to "4100 - Membership Income"; all revenue from monthly programs to "4200 - Program Income", and so forth.5 votes

Some organizations create hard copies of invoices for accounting. It would be beneficial when printing invoices to print out the Paid or a VOID watermark on an invoice.6 votes

We have bundles but the person who pays is invariably not a member (nor should they be). We have no way to send a bundle invoice to a non-member for payment. This is causing a LOT of issues.
In addition, we often need to manually create an invoice to set up an invoice outside of WA to allow an organization to pay for memberships and open event invoices for a single payment.
This is an extremely painful and manual process. Sometimes, we can find a way to do this (please see attached example), but most of the time, we can't.10 votes

Currently there is no way to export the Audit log. We need the fianancial transaction IDs recorded by payment gateways so that they can be reconciled on the payment gateway.

When voiding an invoice, it would be good to be able to enter a reason, that would be put in the internal notes. as to why this action is being taken.
At the moment one has to edit the invoice, add the reason, save the invoice and then void it. Clunky work-flow!28 votes

There should be a "Void & Delete" invoice button which allows both steps to be done in one hit rather that having to Void the invoice then delete it.

Provide a way to group multiple invoices for different members to be selected/grouped/paid by a single individual payment. This IS NOT a capability of membership bundling. I want each membership to remain in a separate record, but I need the ability for a single invoice to accumulate charges for multiple individuals. For example, I have one organization that has 4 individual memberships in our organization for their employees. They want the ability to make a single payment that covers all 4 membership renewals rather than having to log into each record and make 4 individual payments. This also occurs when we have a meeting, and one organization wants to make a single payment for multiple meeting attendees' meeting fees. Please provide a way (perhaps a screen with check boxes to allow selection of open invoices) for selecting invoices that can be grouped and paid by a single joint invoice that would accumulate these charges and mark all as paid when the single invoice is paid.
Right now, I have to generate a dummy PayPal invoice with multiple charges listed for a single total amount due, and once that's paid, I have to manually mark each invoice as paid in WildApricot after the PayPal invoice is paid. Very cumbersome, and it would seem that WildApricot should be able to provide the ability to generate an invoice for the purpose that I'm seeking to accomplish.

Invoices and receipts - we would like the functionality to omit the blank line that is printed when there is no information in the 2nd address line. We often get requests to mail invoices. The blank line has caused some postal delivery issues.5 votes
