Subscription plans allowing larger databases than current limit of 15000
Currently the contact database can only hold a maximum of 15,000 records. Would be nice to have other pricing tiers to allow 25k even 50k records.
We have introduced a new pricing plan “Global” which supports up to 50000 contacts. See more details at https://www.wildapricot.com/blogs/newsblog/2018/01/10/global-plan and our pricing page https://www.wildapricot.com/pricing

Hi Dmitry,
We also have potential clients that we can not suggest the Wild Apricot solution due to the outer limit of 15K. The potential client we suggested the WA solutions to today, has 800 members, but over 19,000 contacts with no hope of purging contacts below the limits. They have 2 events a year with 2000 attendees, a poor web site, and no ability to e-mail from the current solution. WA seems to be fantastic fit for them except in this one area.
Please consider making the changes to allow an increase in the total contact size.

fair enough, will check in with you mid year. Thanks again.

Understood - can't commit to anything yet, should know better by mid-year, once we get version 5.0 out of the way.

End of 2013 would be great, have an account that is now at a little over 13k, not having anymore room to grow would be a real big problem. I'm sure other account admins feel the same way.
Thanks,
Stan

We have completed first round of testing an account with large dataset, now the development team is analyzing the results to identify the key bottlenecks and estimate the work required. Given all the other work we have on the go, the earliest we might add this plan is end of 2013.

Also interested in this. We've got about 8,000 contacts now and we're hoping to add 1,000 or 2,000 a year. So it's not urgent, but it's on our radar.
On a related note--in the short term, even with 8,000, the instant queries become more of an annoyance than a convenience.
For instance, most of the time, when I click on "Contacts," it's because I want to run a saved search. But I always have to wait for the whole 8,000 contact list to load before I can click on that tab. I'd rather have to click an extra search button for the few times I am searching for an individual member than sit through that every time I need to do anything in one of the other two tabs.

Hi Dmitry,
thanks for the response. This is highly important for me as most of the associations I consult for will exhaust the current 15k option in a matter of months, and with no room left to grow they'll be headed for brick wall very soon.
Best,
Stan

Thanks for posting. We are considering this, though probably not in the near future - as we are not sure if there is a significant interest in this. It would require quite a bit of code changes since we load many lists into memory via Javascript for instant search etc. and this is not feasible with much bigger lists.

Sorry, the system would simply not accept extra records.

I understand that some features may not work properly when this limit is reached but is the software able to accept additional members after 15,000 limit?
-
Frank commented
Currently 15,000 records is the maximum number that we support. So if you do go over that we can not guarantee that the service will function as expected and some feature will become limited (i.e, sending e-mails).

What happens if my members reaches 15,000? We are a students service organization with potentials to cap over 15,000 members.
Thank you

would be nice to have other plan options to accommodate for accounts that exceed the 15k cap.
Thanks,
Stan
