Allow members and/or conference registrants to upload file attachments - like abstract submission
Our academic society would find it extremely useful if members -- or better yet, conference registrants -- could upload files (e.g., Word docs, PDFs). This would allow presenters at the conference to share papers prior to the conference, potentially enhancing the feedback that they would get from other conference-goers. We would really like to provide this service for our members/conference attendees.
Dear supporters,
With the new release 6.18 version, we added the ability to create File attachments field for Common and Membership forms.
So now, you can collect documents/images from your members, subscribers, registrants. Members can share their documents with others via Public profile. You can upload files and download files right in contact, member or registration details.
If you have any ideas, requests how we can improve this new functionality, please share it with us.
More about this and other updates in our release notes: https://gethelp.wildapricot.com/en/articles/1665
Thank you for your support and have a good day!

Attachments will be added to API, probably in Q2

Seems the new Attachment field is not available via the API? Is the API going to be updated to allow access to the Attachment field?

The absence of this feature is a show stopper for us. Must have before moving forward.

YES, Please add this feature to Membership applications, Member Profile and the ability to add when they are registering for Events!
Thank you! -
Ability to upload files in member profile, both by members and administrator, will be included as well. In further releases.

Love this idea, but I would like the members to be able to upload documents to their profiles for continuing ed documentation. We are a licensing board and our members have to get CEs each year. I have to subscribe to another software in order to keep track of them. It would be so nice if I could have all of my documentation for each member in their profile.

Requesting an event field to upload a file (jpg or pdf) while registering for an event. Right now, we have to direct them to a jotform, or have them email.
Would be great to have all in one place! -

Document upload
The ability for members to upload a document (jpg, PDF etc) to their profile (e.g. as part of a form). These should be saved to the members' profiles and for the Admin to be able to access and extract reports on them. For example - an application to an event might require a signed form to be submitted. This could be uploaded as part of the event registration process via a form and saved to the member's profile or a document repository specific to that member. The Admin would then be able to extract a report on how many members have registered for that event. -

The ability to upload documents from a form! We require a form for abstract submissions where people can upload their abstracts. This is very important for our annual convention.

agreed--my non-profit could benefit from this feature--we require applicants for scholarships to submit transcripts and letters of recommendation in addition to links to their portfolios-it'd be efficient to have the functionality of keeping all submission components together under one registration--thanks!

This is a must. We need to be able to add things to certain member profiles. Not all are the same and get special certificates.

When will this feature be implemented? Any idea about the timing?

I am working with two clients who need to have this ability, (the ability to upload pdf docs), as part of the membership application process to support eligibility criteria. Can we upload a jpg image - as I note you can add an image?

Basically the missing of this function stops us from moving to wildapricot

HK Webmaster commented
The missing function of having larger images or documents (PDF) being attached as membership fields unfortunately will stop us moving to use Wildapricot

I am shopping for a membership software system with the ability to attach a resume and possibly one or two other documents. Not being able to do this is probably a dealbreaker for me. Thanks.

I would like our Members to have the ability upload PDF's during the Registration Process.
