Recurring donations

Current behavior:
Wild Apricot only supports one-time donations.


Use Membership application form since it is possible to setup a membership level like 'regular donor' with automatic recurring payments.

Desired behavior:
Support recurring donations directly.

    We are migrating from qGiv for our donations, as well as memberships. With qGiv, we have a lot more options for donations. For instance, we have donors that have setup a recurring donations, annually. I don't see where that's possible with WA.

    The Google Doc was a farce. I wasn't able to manipulate anything but the survey asked me how easy was it to use or how easy was it to find somebody. I found Beatrice, by scrolling down the page until I found her name. Not the most innovative idea in the tech world. There was not option of my opinion so I couldn't leave it there.

    Is 2nd half of 2018 still a good target date for this? Critical for nonprofits.

    Generally, recurring donations are monthly. Seems like a check box next to the amount would satisfy the request.

    Setting up a membership level doesn't work for a few reasons. They can't be more than one type of member, so ACTUAL members can't sign up for recurring donations. AND you have to choose dollar figures - having a dozen different "donation" memberships types doesn't work.

    I see you have recurring payments in your new payment platform - what about recurring donations? When will we get this feature? It is really important to us. Thanks. Carole

    No exact date at the moment, however it is already clear that we won't be able to deliver this in 2017.
    We are late delivering new architecture for payment services (a must for recurring donations), not saying that recent acquisition might mix out our roadmap.

    We are getting ready to send our our year-end donation appeal. Any date yet that we can share for when recurring donations will be available from our donate page? You had indicated that it would be sometime in 2017, and we're now in the final quarter. We need to have this capability and are looking at other ways to do this; we can't use the membership option. Thanks.

    Every time I tried to test the recurring donations feature when I had time in the evening, there wasn't a time available that day and I didn't realize I should have clicked on another day. When I tried the next day, again no time was available. I'm on the pacific coast. Maybe that's the problem. Now, there are no times left to test the new feature. Have I lost my chance? Is testing complete now?

    Can't come soon enough. This is a critical capability that most if not all non-profits need. When can we expect an update?

    We are actively looking into switching to a different database that offers monthly recurring donations. Unfortunately not having this feature severely hampers our ability to fundraise. I would urge you to make the development of a monthly donation feature a top priority. I just sent a message to the support team and was told there is no timeline for this feature, yet in the comments I see that in March you were going to a) add this functionality this year and b) post updates about it, neither of which has happened. I'm sad about it because otherwise WA is really helpful for us.

    The proposed workaround does not work for us as we have annual memberships.
