Export / Report poll results
Would like to see an option to export results to a spreadsheet (XLS or CSV).
Happy Monday!

Published Help Section shows Export capability. I don't "see" that in current version of WA.

Why has this not be addressed. We need the data!

Ran Poll, surprised to find that I can only view individual responses.
Could we provide a data extraction allowing quick access to contacts and poll responses. -

Even just the ability to PRINT the results would help tremendously. Also, as long as we are dreaming, the ability to resend the poll invitation email to people who have not yet voted.

It would be very beneficial to be able to export poll results. Tabbing through individual responses and manually capturing various responses is a real pain. Would prefer xls output.

Being able to export detail polling data would be very helpful. We use the feature to conduct club wide surveys and manually taking up data to cross reference it to other member data is simply time consuming and unnecessary. Also, when used for elections, the ability to download, print and retain results in an organizations records is important.

Reporting for Polling

The inability to export poll results for comparison with paper ballots is very frustrating and would cause us not to use WA for polling members in the future. It seems a shame not to use the membership software for polling. A member's polling activity should be captured as part of the member's record as well.

If the poll feature were to seriously be considered as an election tool (eg vote for new club management team), the poll results must be beyond reproach/question. it would provide credibility as to the accuracy of the poll results when using a system gadget or similar to publish the results to membership/wesite/email blast etc without human intervention. since current results must be published with human intervention, there will always be the critic that will question the results have been changed.

Thank you for including a poll feature. The ability to vote on an item based on membership level is really useful.
I would like the ability to export results of a poll with the ability to add membership fields that we hold on the member to the export.
Example :
We have a poll and collect the data by member. When we export the results we could select their date of birth and state from their membership record to be exported with their poll vote. This then allows us to have the ability to analyse the results by age of respondent and their location. This then gives a Wild Apricot poll feature a significant benefit over external poll solutions (survery monkey etc) by allowing us to only capture the question result and not demographic data that we already hold on the member. The fewer questions that we ask the member on a poll the more likely they are to respond.
Thank you

Please do provide this function. Polling is very useful . We are currently using it to have off water activity due to corona virus. However sharing and also analysing the data without exporting to excel or any other form is makes it useful but also makes it very hard to use.

There needs to be a way to export poll results to be able to share. The polls do us no good if we can't share the results.

The poll feature is very good, so far as it goes. Thank you.
For it to be most useful, please do add an option to export the results to a spreadsheet. In the meantime, perhaps you could add some sorting functionality. We ended up doing that manually, but it would have been great to do it from an export file.

We need to export poll results to share with the board of directors so we can make a decision on the topic that was polled. How do we share the results otherwise? It's a nice feature to be able to poll, but now that you collected the data, you can't do anything with the results. You can get a total, but are unable to read each individual comment without having to scroll thru the individual results. It would be nice to be able to export it and see all the results in one spread sheet that can be shared among board members.

We have used your POLL capability several times and really like it. We would suggest one added feature. Besides surveying our members, we also have yearly elections. To protect people's privacy we would turn off the ability to VIEW INDIVIDUAL RESPONSES for an election. Unfortunately, there are still some members who prefer to vote by paper ballot. To allow for paper ballots, we would need to be able to determine who voted electronically -- without being able to see how they voted. That way, when anyone requests a paper ballot, we could verify that they did not vote electronically. To sum up, we would like to be able to export a list of members who voted in a poll even when the ability to VIEW INDIVIDUAL RESPONSES is turned off.
Thank you.

I would also LOVE to see this. Really cannot use the poll feature without the ability to export a data file. Please, please create this functionality. Our organization would use it a lot if it were available. (I also think that this is a feature that would attract prospective customers to WA.)

I would like to conduct a poll among our members to choose a new club logo, using ranked choice voting to select the most popular logo. (See https://ballotpedia.org/Ranked-choice_voting_(RCV).) To do this, I need a spreadsheet containing each member's ranking of each candidate logo. The ability to download the set of poll responses would make this much easier.

Unless we can run reports and sort on different things the poll isn’t very useful.

Need to improve the options for exporting poll results so that they can be better analyzed.
