I would say that the problem is not in number of fields to be shown in each column, but in absence of special address field that shows address in special way (not field by field). \
Still I agree that it is reasonable to increase a number of fields from 3 to at least 5 in each member directory column.

We're working on analyzing custom membership renewal periods right now, and while it's pretty obvious functionality for levels with renewals on the join date, it's not as easy for levels with renewals on specific dates.
How this will work for levels with renewals on join date: You will select "Custom" renewal period and set it to e.g. 3 weeks. See the screenshot attached for UI solution for this (it's new designs that are to be rolled out pretty soon)
For levels with renewals on specific date, the problem is not that obvious - and the main reason I'm not very sure about the actual association renewal setup.
If you need custom renewal period AND you have any specific membership start date - could you please describe your setup so I would have better understanding of your needs?

I believe we need to consider this together with http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308920-archive/suggestions/8834698-5-year-renewal-period-10559 and just allow to setup any custom renewal period (week, year, etc.)

This is probably to be covered with so called "Newsletter templates" feature we're planning to release in 2012 Q2 - see http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308920-archive/suggestions/8832034-email-templates-3194 .
Main part of the change will be ability to use predefined templates when sending email to a member or list of members - including usage of macro.

Thanks for comments, they look quite reasonable. Unfortunately this is not in our current plans for 2011 but we will keep looking after this thread.

We're planning to make a very simple change - sort attendees alphabetically (last name), instead of current registration date order.
We may consider additional settings to control the sorting, but not now - we usually are very reluctant to add additional settings parameters when a key problem can be resolved without it - and this is exactly the case here as last name sorting looks very common approach, easy to understand and use.
The question is: would it work for everybody? Or someone is heavily relying on registration date order?
Just to remind: we are speaking about publically available attendee list, not the one that admin can see via admin backend.

Do you need it for printing purposes only (PDF would be enough) or you need Excel version so you can make some changes into the file?

- Sorry, no workaround in Wild Apricot to get a single page with updated from all members own photo albums.
- Photo albums functional pages photos do count into limits.I can see here actually several things for possible future enhancements in Wild Apricot:
1) Make new functional page / gadget that shows recently added photos added by members into their profiles. The page should have setting to define which members to include into list (all, specific levels, etc.). The pages shows a list of photos, there is a way to understand date when it was added and who added it. Probably, the page should show photos grouped by member
2) Allow to show in member directory last uploaded picture, total number of albums and photos and also allow to sort by these parameters
3) On photo album functional page for each photo give a name of a member that uploaded it. Make this behavior optional - so if admin wants he can enable or disable this.
UPD: Actually, system already shows member name that uploaded a photo.Comments?

Do you mean that when a member makes a reply to another member's post, he wants to make it anonymously so that post creator does not have a link to his profile?

There are a lot of other changes we are doing now plus there are more important forum changes in queue (like forums moderation http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8825590-add-moderation-of-new-forum-posts-3452 )

No, this is not possible now but it looks like a good idea so I move it to our Wish list forum.
And can you please give more details on what you are trying to achieve? It's not common to remove blog posts so I'd would really want to know more of what is behind that.

We also need to consider that invoice can be paid with several payments - but this is rather an exception so I agree that having a way to send payment receipt right from invoice is a good thing to have.

Actually, in current design invoice and payment are two different documents. When invoice is paid, you will see link 'Settlement details' near Balance due label or under Total amount. This will open Payment receipt and there will be E-mail button so you can e-mail payment receipt.

You're absolutely right - current behavior is actually an oversight, almost a bug :) I will add this into our internal system so we can change this - this is a very simple change.

Very good comment - thank you! Somehow we missed the ability to allow "dropdowns" with extra cost - now we have only radio options and checkboxes. Will add this into our product queue.

The problem with this is that it's not always clear what types to hide and why. For example, you may have free registration type called "Waitlist" or "Volunteers". Even if member is logged in, he still should be able to register as "Volunteer" for free.
For now I can see a solution as an additional option into registration type' settings - something like "Hide for logged in members". This should be somehow combined with existing otpion "Hide if unavailable". And I also think that just new option is not enough - there should be ability to select levels of membership for which hide the registration type (you might have "free" levels of members that are basically the same as regular visitors).
Any comments on that ?

Let me clarify: you made a search withing contact database with criteria "Latest Donation Date" "This Year" and then exported found records to Excel. In the Excel file you are looking into "Total donated" column and see "total amount the donor made over the life of their donations". Is it correct? If yes, this unfortunately "by design" behavior. The reason here is you're using contact export feature - and it gives you a list of contacts that match your search criteria. There are a number of predefined columns in this export. Basically, contacts export is not intended to be used as donations report. We have a dedicated Donations report inside Donations tab and also Export of donations. You can export donations into Excel and then group records using contact name/email. This is a workaround, for sure.
As far as I can see, we are talking about dedicated report that shows total donations within a period of time grouped by contact - which is not possible now (except Excel workaround I mentioned above).An error occurred while saving the comment

I'm not sure I understand how grouping of donation would help to resolve this particular problem. When you mentioned "a donation from 2009 was counted in this year" what do you mean by "counted"? Did you use any specific report? If it was donation report, how could a record from 2009 get into 2011 if date range did not include 2009?
Any comments from others?
What if system automatically keeps all links up-to-date on other pages when you change page name? would it solve your problem?
