    I have several clients who would like the ability to assign event discount codes without having to create a separate registration type.

    I have clients who would use this functionality for the Featured Member gadget too. Either a search function or a setting in the Featured Member gadget "display only profiles with photo".

    I believe that Enhanced Recurring Payments for PayPal Payments Standard is a fairly new service. It allows recurring payments to be made with a credit card instead of just a PayPal account. In the past PayPal PayFlow Pro with Recurring Billing was the only option for paying recurring payments with a credit card.

    Here is a link to information about the service on the PayPal website: https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?&cmd=_render-content&content_ID=merchant/erp_overview

    Does anyone know if Wild Apricot supports Enhanced Recurring Payments for PayPal Payments Standard? I know they support Recurring Payments for PayPal Standard, however that option requires users to create and use a PayPal account.

    Any insight would be appreciated.

    Yes. I have a client that wants to set the renewal date to the 25th of each month because that is how they have always billed their members.

    Yes, it would be beneficial to have the option to display or hide restricted pages in the menu. For membership based sites it would be a way to entice people to join. I have created a workaround on one of my client's site, but it involves creating an extra menu item and landing page. When visitors click Member Directory they are taken to a page gives them the option to view the public page or join to view the private page. This solutions will work until the functionality is added to WA.

    I agree that Option 1 would add some value until Option 2 is available.

    Yes! Option 2 would be great.

    I want to add the upcoming event list to the event announcement emails and also email templates.

    Yes! Does anyone know how to insert the event calendar into an event email or email template? I don't want to insert the event page (I know that can be done through widgets) just the information that appears if you insert the event gadget.

    I tried copying the code that appears within the moduleholder tags, but it does not work.

    My client is Chicago Cabaret. Here's a link to their site with the existing calendar:http://http://chicagocabaret.org/calendar.php

    They are switching over Wild Apricot to manage their membership database and will incorporate information in their existing site via widgets.

    They currently allow their members to post their performances on the event calendar. The Wild Apricot event calendar does not work for them because only administrators are allowed to post events.

    I envision the following:

    1. ability to select which membership levels are allowed to post to the calendar or select an option that allows the public to post

    2. ability to post these events automatically or select an option so that events need to be approved by an Admin before they are posted.

    3. ability to post a link to a venue or the performers personal website

    4. registration - give the option to run registration through WA and designate the member that posted the event as the event administrator, or just provide a link to a third party site to handle registration.

    I have a client that would also like the ability for members to add their own events to the event calendar.

    In admin view, I clicked the Settings tab, then the CSS Customization link under Advanced Settings. You don't have to modify a specific file, you just drop the code below into the Editor box and then hit Apply and Close. This will modify the css file without having to open the actual file.

    #idLoginContainer {
    position: relative;
    float: left;
    margin-top: 5px;
    text-align: right;
    }

    Here's a link to view the screenshot.

    I just wanted to post a follow up for anyone following this thread. I was able to move the login box from the top right to under the left navigation menu. I followed the steps that Evgeny outlined. I then had to add the following code in the css customization section:

    #idLoginContainer {
    position: relative;
    float: left;
    margin-top: 5px;
    text-align: right;
    }

    Thank you!

    I placed the following code in the AreaUnderMenu.tpl file:

    <$Layouts/LoginBox()$>

    I then saved the file, uploaded it under File Management, and hit the rebuild template button. The login box did not appear under my menu. I did another test and placed the text TEST in the AreaUnderMenu.tpl file and followed the additional steps, and the word TEST appeared under the menu.

    Please tell me what I am missing.

    Thank you.

    Thanks for your reply. I have enabled the Theme overrides and downloaded the files for my template. I would like to use the AreaUnderMenu.tpl file and just drop the html code for the login box in that file, then upload. Is that possible? I did a test and can place an image under the menu using this file, but I cannot figure out the code to drop in to get the login box under the menu. Any specifics you can provide would be appreciated!
