Shopping Cart ability
I think it would be really useful if the website had a shopping cart feature similar to how Amazon allows you to build up your purchases and then just check out once.
My members find it frustraiting that they have to go to the membership area to renew their membership and check out. Then go back in to make a donation and then check out. Then go back in to register for their events. A lot of times they have to check out twice to cover registration and the add/ticketed events which means they have to then check out two more times.

I'm sure it's probably been mentioned previously, but I'd like to see members be able to renew, pay for an event, buy a store item and/or make a donation with one invoice, and the monies properly recorded separately in the financial reports>
Unless I'm mistaken each transaction needs to be paid separately. I have added renewal options to events which have to be manually updated, but that money shows up in events and not membership where it belongsand

ARE THERE ANY PLANS TO HAVE MULTIPLE ITEMS IN A SHOPPING CART SUCH AS A RENEWAL PLUS A DONATION AS SEEN IN MOST PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION ORGRANIZATIONS?

I agree that the cart feature needs to be improved. We are looking at other website designs that meet the needs of our organization better. This improvement would make it unnecessary for us to switch.

Our organization would 100% support this change. We have a community education series of classes (unrelated subjects) that we enter as events. Some are free and some cost money. It would be a huge help to us if customers could add multiple events as well as a donation in a "cart" before checking out. As of now it is cumbersome for them to register one at a time for each class/event with multiple transactions.
Our organization's board is advising us to look into different platforms entirely because of this drawback. Thank you for considering this change!

Definite up vote for this - it's ridiculous that a member booking for two or more events has to go through the process and the basket for every single one.

The single check-out is not clear. We have an annual conference where we allow for delegates can buy individual tickets. Ideally they could buy a full conference package plus a banquet ticket for their "plus-one" in one transaction. And the system could tell me that 1 person registered for the full conference and that 2 tickets were sold for the banquet without treating things like different events that I have to track manually in spreadsheets.

Shopping cart functionality w/ Event Registration - we use WA to manage our community and community activities. The community activities often have optional T-shirts and mementos associated with them. Some events require menu choices to be made, i.e., chicken, fish, beef, veggie. WA currently can capture these decision for one individual. Registering multiple individuals requires one person entering multiple times; as in Mom also having to register Dad and the kids. Each has different food choice, different shirt size, etc. WA needs shopping cart functionality so "Mom" can make all the choices she needs to keep the family happy and make ONE payment vs. multiple payments. This is HUGE for my 600+ members.

Ditto this. 100%. Members should be able to signup for events and/or make donations at the time of renewal. Donations and turnout to events are key to raising funds for our organization. Simply said, the current process (renew, stop. register for event 1, stop. Register for event 2, stop. Donate, stop. Pay all invoices.) is overly complicated, not intuitive and simply cumbersome for average users, especially when people are so used to stacking their cart with goodies and checking out at one time.

Current functionality allows to make a single check out - a member can a) renew membership (invoice is generated), then b) register for an event (again, another invoice will be generated), then go and make a donation.
After that, he will see three records in his profile and will be able to check out once.
I suppose, that it's not clear for your members and you suggest to review and redesign current behaviour, make it simpler, right?
