Member Billing Contact

Many member accounts need a seperate billing email to get the renewal notices and event invoices. Is there someway to add a seperate field for billing contact name and email? Or a second person who gets notified of invoices and financial notices?

    I'd like to be able to send certain emails to certain email addresses within the contact details. For example, I would like to be able to send the invoice to the Accountant email they have on file. Right now, if I put an accountant email in their contact details, all emails automatic emails will go to all the emails, including the accountant.

    Need a separate email field that can be used to send renewal and event invoices while keeping the main contacts email for other manual emails.

    The people who attend the events, but memberships, etc. are not the people who pay the bills. The bill needs to go to someone else such as accounts payable.

    Our members also often have separate billing contacts. It would be ideal to have a way to put the billing contact (or even a secondary notification person) as part of their member profile and link it to invoicing.

    Our Association also works in this way. About half the time the one receiveing the renewal invoice is not the one who can pay. Membership renewals get lost in their office until we remind them.

    This would be VERY beneficial!

    I need a way to send out billing emails to a different email address then the address used for any other events, fund raisers, and general notifications.

    We also have a few clients that would benefit from a 'billing contact' email, separate from the member email. Ideally this person would be be able to access and pay for invoicing for all invoices under that member account.

    1.) One customer would benefit from setting up a billing contact, who is NOT a member as a part of their bundle membership (so it doesn't use up one of their members)

    2.) One customer have companies that pay for all their member renewals together. Unfortunately the bundle membership does NOT work for this customer as the members of these companies have different types of memberships (each member is setup as a different type of individual member). If you could assign a billing contact (the same contact) across multiple members, so they could access and pay for all invoices across multiple members would be fantastic! It would be a similar function of the bundle administrator but more flexible as the members could have different membership levels.

    This function would be important to us.

    We have many businesses who are members, and several large ones. Occasionally the person inchange of the invoice is in another city as the member/registrant, and they have nothing to do with eachother.

    Some of our members have requested that any financial information/invoices be sent to adifferent department rather than themselves, so this option is important for our members.

    There is currently no way to do this - but your suggestion makes good sense for those clients who have businesses as members. I hope to see more feedback on this thread from others.
