THIS NEEDS TO BE A PRIORITY.
Our members change levels all the time
The get a boring un personal email "Lever change complete"
They NEED to be getting the "Thank you for being a Member, we value you..." Retention is important. Our "Renewal Competed" emails have lots of important promos and over quick links and it allows us to let them know we appreciate them being part of our organization....I agree that the acknowledgment email they receive is embarrassing and amateurish looking.

Not only the ability to add physical address... BUT All these members should also AUTOMATICALLY get the "activation email" as its a very important email that has all the good stuff... I hate that I have to remember to go in and look up the ones that changed levels to manually send them the "Welcome email" with links to the events and links to news.

We bill some of our contacts for ads. It would be nice to have the option to duplicate a manual invoice if they have one in their finances already.

We have started analysis for this issue, and it seems that key problem is how Wild Apricot handles level changes close to renewal date. The system is currently designed to collect the full new level amount and set renewal date according to new level renewal policy. All prepaid amounts for old levels are disposed. Moreover, since no prorating occurs, the new level might be effective only for a few days.
As a first step, we suggest to redesign how level change is working and add prorating there:
- Level would be changed immediately, as now - Remaining portion of old membership level payment will be applied to new level - For new levels with specific renewal date (e.g. annual levels with renewals Jan 1st) apply the pro-rating settings for new applications: - Allow member to pay only a pro-rated amount of the new level fee (e.g. six months before renewal…Jenna Keindel supported this idea ·

TAX settings: Allow for different tax setting in the store... EX books sold anywhere in Canada is 5%. But if I want to sell a journal subscription it would be their home address Tax rate.
*If I sell shirts at an event in Quebec...I have to charge Quebec tax... If I'm selling them out of my office and sending it to BC I have to charge BC Tax.

Members what to see the break down of what the tax is for events...
building into the field description is annoying.
It looks bad when we say registration is 750 but I have to put $862.50 to account for Tax.Jenna Keindel supported this idea ·

Please build a search box on the Manage participants when on the Member/Group/Edit group page... i have to sift thru all 3000+ members to fine one at a time and then it puts me back to the top every time I add one more to the group.
Also Please allow us to "Group" Contacts even if its in its own section.

When I go to add 15 new members to a group, I have to sort thru ALL 2000+ Member names....to add one at a time..
Can you not allow us to search? -

It would also be helpful to have greater than/ equal to... And less than/ equal to in the search boxes..

With so many virtual events now we offer Online - On-demand - Self-guided events.
Please add an option to simply enable or disable events. Maybe an "On your Time" option?
Currently, a start date is required. If I don't put an end date, the event falls off the list end of that day.
EX: If I put an end date, a year in the future, it fills the calendar view and makes it look messy.
Also- When adding "Fake" dates - it can cause confusion, is misleading and unprofessional when dates are irrelevant.
