address validation
Our contacts common fields contains mailing address. It is important that the addresses entered be legal, that is, conform to USPS standards.
We need access to a process which both validates entered postal addresses and replaces ill-formed addresses with the conforming address.

So many sites are integrating this option. It should be standard!

Ideally, all fields should have the option for a specified validation pattern, but address validation is a good start.

I second this idea!
The existing address entry capabilities are rather limiting. In addition to overall address validation, it would be good to fill out city and state based on a given zip code, for example. There are good opportunities for improvement here.
