    Hi John, good point. Thank you for sharing this.

    I have a question about your meaning of editing profile. Do you mean just edit information (like Name, Phone) or add family/bundle members to their profile?

    Would appreciate comments from other users. What do you think if pending members will be able to edit their profiles and add bundle members?

    Looks that both restrictions are unnecessary.

    You can do this. Create the membership level for such contacts and exclude it from the directory.
    I understand that this is a workaround but seems that it could help you.

    Let me rephrase, for clarification. The system generates renewal invoice for next membership period automatically. If the member didn't pay it and missed the whole period, the system generates the new invoice again, for the new period. And continue to do this each period. So, when the member decides to pay his membership, he/she has to pay all renewal invoices, for all past periods. Right?

    Stuart, could you elaborate what you mean by 'Member Listing', describe your case in more detail?

    Is it about Member Directory on the website or the Members list in the administrative backend? For both, you can define the custom layout. So, probably, you mean something different in your request.

    Sidney, let me rephrase your request, for clarification. You need to see numbers, the summary of membership for past periods.
    For example, how many New members were enrolled (or Lapsed) on the level for the last month/year/period. Am I right?

    The 'Offline' icon looks unclear, what about 'Cash' icon (attached to the thread)?
    There is one concern: there are many offline payment methods, like checks, cash, bank transfers, etc.

    As I understand, you want to explicitly indicate to your members in emails that the next renewal payment will be charged automatically, right?
    You can include this information in the automatic emails, member activation or renewal confirmed. Does it work for you?

    Agree that login function is not easy for members and could avoid them from renewing. We have several ideas how to improve this process and are working on this within this thread https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932/suggestions/8827087

    If your members already have unpaid renewal invoices you can add the link to invoice to renewal reminders, the {Invoice_Details_URL} macro. By using this link they can pay it without logging into the profile.

    From Ed "I'd like to see our own membership numbers vs. the system ID as well. However, I'd like it set up to have a system option to automatically increment my member's Club ID# (say by 1 or 5 or 10 or ?) and not allow the user to edit it. Let the user display it or not in Privacy settings. Let Admin override the entry if needed. It's a nice way to see how many members join over a period of time - avg. per month, year, etc. when a I do a data extract."

    This thread about zip code / radius search seems really close to that one.

    The question is why you need to keep this information if you reject membership?
    As the workaround, I can suggest you yo use Suspend function. In this case, the system doesn't delete all this information.

    Also, I merged your idea with existing one about tracking rejected applications.

    As I understand, in your case you need to calculate the renewal date for new members based on the date when they pay for their membership.
    There are other administrators who need the opposite, current behavior when renewal date calculates based on join / invoice generation date.

    Both cases are valuable – I’ll wait for others to comment on this. Probably there should be an option in the level setup so admin can choose appropriate behavior.

    Is it about the lapsed members who were archived and when decided to register to event? So they restored automatically as with lapsed membership status and counted on the membership level.

    We are going to review this logic and will not restore membersрship if it was suspended.
    But don't have any estimation yet.

    Corinne, sorry to hear about that situation.

    Unfortunately, we can't do something quickly in the product. As a quick solution, I can suggest you use Privacy or Incognito mode in your browser. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Privacy_mode

    You can open Wild Apricot account and log in as admin in one tab and WordPress in Privacy mode (or viсa verse) and will not have the conflict with Wild Apricot Public/Admin modes.

    Josh, the system works exactly as you described your request.
    If member decided do not renew and so his status changed to Lapsed, the next time when he decides to pay, new renewal period will be calculated from the current date, from now. So they don't have to pay for past periods.

    Seems that in your case, on your association, some members initiated renewal process and invoice was generated (in March for April), when they decided do not renew/pay. This invoice still exists, so the payment settled with this invoice and the renewal date calculated based on the information in it.

    You can void such old renewal invoices for lapsed members and next time they decide to sign-up, the new renewal invoice will be generated.

    As I understand you want to organize kind of hierarchy of administrators, right? But what does it mean for you? Different privileges or they will administrate different group of members? Is it about your local chapter or several chapters around the world?

    No Search box, all Privacy settings are applied, you can select who is listed and that fields you want to display.
    Also, you can put several gadgets on one page.

    There are many supporters of this thread and no comments.

    We really appreciate more details from you about this situation with member's activation.
    Now, in case, then admin record payment for renewal invoice, the Lapsed member becomes Active. So, seems that it works. The question is in what situation it doesn't work? Can you give more details? It will help us to investigate the issue and fix it.
