"Add to Google Calendar" button on event details
Today a client requested an "Add to Google Calendar" button on our event details page, in addition to the "Add to Outlook" function we already have.
Would you find this useful as well? Please post your comments below.
Adding event to Google Calendar, as well as other popular calendar systems was release as part of 7.14 https://gethelp.wildapricot.com/en/articles/1733-version-714-release

We are trying to add a Google Calendar to our webpage. Is there a simple way to do this? We want to auto-populate the google calendar and have it show up on our website. Please help.

How do we ensure that the "add to calendar" item is the actual time stated? Right now, the calendar item does not match up with the actual time as set up (we are not requiring registration via WildApricot BTW)

The add to calendar defaults to download only. No option to decide on which calendar.

Agree with "We've been getting more and more requests from our members to have the "add to calendar' in the event confirmation emails. Could this be a macro? (and yes, google, outlook and apple ideal)"

Yes! on the page of an individual Event as well as the announce emails. And how about on the list view of Events -- users could click, click, click down the list and add the events they want all from one page -- that would be awesome! Thanks!

I agree with comments, this should be added as a macro to select in event reminders and announcements.

I concur with those who said this also needs to be in the event announcement email. Since we are not holding in-person luncheon meetings now and are using Zoom, all of our meetings are free and don't require registration.

We're working on solution here, seems to be an easy fix.

In the "add to my calendar" link, registrants can bypass the download and upload steps and upload the event directly into their (ie Google) calendar with permission.

Our agency has changed from using Outlook which uses .ics files to gmail and Google Calendar that require webcal formatted files instead. Please add this option to adding an event to registrants calendar.
Thank you

Add to Google Calendar is essential!

Yes, please include an "Add to calendar" button on event pages AND event confirmation emails that will automatically add the title/date/time of event to users' calendars! Seriously, even my dentist's office can do this. It would be greatly appreciated...

Since you're using add event calendar in emails for Webinars, isn't it time to add it to the events page?

Perhaps you can replace the add to calendar code on the event page, with the code on this page https://www.addevent.com/add-to-calendar-button
Not only does it have Outlook, it has Google , Yahoo and Apple as well.

Would be great if, once logged in, a member/administrator could export an ics url link to import to their google calendar.
