Two features I would love for WA both eDM related.
On events, could we schedule the TIME we'd like our event notices to go as well as the day. Many of our events are at 5:30 or 6:00pm and sending an eDM at that time reduces its value so we've not using the system to it's advantage.

The second request is that regular eDM's also be able to be scheduled to go at a certain time. There is a 3-5 hour time zone difference for many of our clients so early morning eDM's (when our client wants them to go) mean getting up at 6am to send. It would be awesome if we could schedule the eDM's as soon as they are approved by the Board and then know they will just go when is appropriate.

Oh, and one last thing the typo I had alerted me to - spell check within WA would be awesome. Particuarly when sending notes on the top of invoices.

It would be very helpful to be able schedule manual emails as well as generated emails.

Could you require us to select a group rather than automatically sending to all? If I forget to select my event reminders - my whole list gets it even if only one group should. Or if an event is duplicated - duplicate the group also.

Our development team cannot keep with with original schedule (Dec 2015) and will release it in Jan 2016.

Yes, please add this as soon as possible. We are migrating from another vendor who has this. It will be a big hole until this gets implemented...

We considered all your comments and prepare solution for this feature. And since release date is not known yet, it is good chance to validate solution with you.

Actually, ability to schedule emails is not something new. For example, membership renewal and event announcement emails already have schedule options. Here we discuss manual email blasts and two main scenarios we have defined:

The most common case is preparing email in advance and send it at some date and time. Exactly this scenario was mentioned by darilyn10 in the previous comment: April fool's announcement

The second case is recurring emails. Like monthly Newsletter, that need to send every first Monday at 10:00pm for certain group

Both scenarios are important and to solve them we defined the following changes:

- Ability to schedule email, once or recurring basis, during email composing, and change the schedule later

- Extend ‘Email drafts’ list by Scheduled and Recurring emails

- Send notification to administrator when a scheduled email was sent

... and many small, but really cool usability and visual changes

I would also love this feature! If we can schedule system emails for events, etc., it seems an easy fix to let administrators pre-schedule other email blasts. Many of our associations use volunteer web administrators and it would be helpful to create them and have them sent on a scheduled date.

The automatic system emails are not enough! We would LOVE to be able to schedule release of email blasts for announcements, notices, and other reasons not associated with system emails.

I can see that this request was first posted back in 2008 and it is now 2015. This enhancement is overdue. Because many administrators are volunteers, it would be terrific to be able to pre-schedule the release of email blasts!

if you guys aren't planning on integrating with other mailing list websites out there, this is definitely a biggie that you need to address.

With Events already having the ability to schedule email blasts I would think with would be fairly straight forward for you guys. Please roll this out soon as there really is ideal times to send emails to our group so as to catch them when they are most likely checking their email. Many of our members are part of larger state and nationwide organizations and get many emails. It is easy for them to overlook, ignore, or just forget to get back to an email sent at the wrong time. Allowing certain Admins in our group to prepare an email lets say late at night and release at Noon or after 5 pm the next day would often be ideal to avoid those concerns. Thank you!

I would also vote for adding the ability to send scheduled email communications. It's the missing piece of making the email marketing features very useful!

I would like to add another + vote for this feature. As you have already been informed, all of the major email services such as Constant Contact, Mailchimp, Vertical Response and others include this ability to schedule the date and time to send an eblast in the future.

Many of the small organizations that use the WA services rely on part-timers or volunteers. It is often inconvenient or worse to require the volunteer or part-time assistant to log in at a specific time to send an email that may have been prepared days earlier. We have a "set it and forget it" mentality for many services and expect the same within Wild Apricot.
