Preparing and printing event participant badges
To print event participant badges, attendee list has to be exported into Excel and something like Microsoft Word mail merge used. This provides a lot of flexibility but obviously is less convenient than a built-in badge generator
Built-in functionality to define badge layouts and to print out badges in common label sizes right from the system
We would appreciate feedback about desired label formats (sizes) and customization needs for badge layouts/design

The check in QR code feature is nice but it would be very helpful if we could connect it to name badge printing which we have seen done many places. Thank you!
It would be great to be able to export event registrants with their corresponding check in QR Code so it can be printed onto a name tag label. That way we don't have to rely on attendees bringing in the email or having it on their phone, we can just scan the name tag upon their arrival then then give it to them. Can that be a feature in the future?

PLEASE add a name badge print option from this software.
CVent had functionality that let the user pick a font and create a layout that would include a logo.

It would be fantastic to be able to print delegate badges for events in the IOS APP for admins
It is so easy to register delegates in the app but we need the print functionality
Also on the desktop version a direct delegate badge print option is required for advance registration

I have two (2) associations that I now use Wild Apricot (two different accounts). I use a Dymo label printer to prepare name tags for monthly events. It would be AWESOME if I could print directly from Wild Apricot to the label printer for name tags - I currently have to export an Excel or CVS file and then load into the Dymo program. It would make my life amazing if you could have it so we could print directly from WA :)

We currently export event registrants and use Dymo printer to print a label for events. Doing this directly from WA to a Dymo printer with name badge labels would be a great feature.

Our association uses Avery 5392. We have our logo, the event name and date, if the member has paid (if not the amount owed so they don't get in the door without paying up), the member/guest name, their group and the last four digits of their member ID (we using this as their identifier when we hold an auction which is twice a year).
PLEASE!!!!!!!! A barcode for vendors to scan for contact information would also be wonderful!

Avery 5395 is a very common format. We like First name in a large font, last name below it in a smaller but still legible font, and the ability to select or add a couple of custom event or contact fields below that. Adding a logo at the top of bottom of the badge would also be necessary for a professional look.

It all depends on how much you want to spend.
The cheapest solution is the one you described.
If you want a more easy solution, I think you should look for a Nicelabel solution, this will give you serveral options, from simple database solution to a complete application builder. (see: https://www.nicelabel.com/?uid=03180)
In my opinion, if you really want to impress the visitors, you should combine that whit a Epson TM-C3500 color printer en ExpoBadges from Diamondlabels. (see: https://businesslabels.nl/en/brand/expobadge-2/ )
Whit such a combination you have Badge solution software and full color badge printing all in house.
You could also consider spending even more money by using a company like Fielddrive.
Like I said at the start, it all depends on how much you want to spend.

I agree that this would be a nice feature. Name Badges are essential for any event organization. we should use standard size of badges with same color of badges and different color of landyards.
Here is also one name badges provider. https://www.namebadges.com.au. They provide namebadges with different color, size and design.

Any update on this? We joined WA in September of last year. We had previously used Eventbrite and loved their badge printing capabilities. We love WA but this is one thing that is definitely missing.

Use a standard format, like Avery 5395 (provide an Avery#, whatever it is) so we know what to print on, with flexibility to use at least one sticky badge format and one paper badge format. Allow us to design the badge and what fields go where, with our logo or other graphics.

I have been asked to be able to check-off each attendee and to print on small label printers their attendance name tag when they are checked in. It is counterproductive and expensive to print 450 nametags when there might only be 200 attendees for the event. We need the ability to print nametags, etc. onsie-twosie on demand at the event table.
would be wonderful to have the standard size name badge template for being able to print out the attendee name along with logo for a given function for more professional and standardized look rather than someone scribbling name on badge could also be option to print on flat non adhesive to slide in the clear plastic sleeve with a pin to adhere to person

there is an online application/system that Eventbrite uses - direct export of registrants from Eventbrite into this paid service $.25/badge - but it allows you to do a LOT in the design - I am sure that WA could use their API to send registrant information.

We would like this as well. While we can do this using excel-word route, it takes time. Our current CRM you just print the badges from the event directly so and is cumbersome it is a 30 second process. We need the same thing everyone has been asking for: Name, organization, role, city, Province/State and a logo
