Allow to set specific sending time for automatic event emails
I would like to have the ability to modify the event notification email reminder time. As currently designed, the notification goes into the queue 30 minutes before meeting time. This doesn't mean it goes out at that time so members are getting the email 9-12 minutes after that, whichi gives a 20 minute notice. The reason we put an event reminder on the day of the event is so people don't forget it and ensure it's part of their daily schedule. This 20 minute notice does not do that especially considering our meetings go out to members across the community and all have to drive to the meeting location. By the time this notice goes out, for those that remember, they have already left, for those that have forgotten, 20 minutes isn't enough time to get them there on time.
To resolve this I would like to see the ability to modify the time so I can adjust the time the notice is sent out, or if that is not feasible, at least give a one hour notice.

Could you please ensure that reminder emails are not sent at midnight? Some people are not pleased with the timing. I recall this was an issue before, and it was resolved, with reminders previously set to go out at the event start time. Please adjust this at your earliest convenience.

I would like to be able to schedule an event announcement to be delivered at a specific time. In our case, 9 or 10am is optimum for our members. Emails sent at midnight are long down the list in someone's inbox when they check them in the morning. I think sending them at the time of the event was a better solution than this, but ideal would be giving us the choice of what time to send event announcements. I can't help thinking of how much we pay Personify, and think there must be a better way.

The default of sending all event announcement emails at midnight does not work for us. Our workshops fill up really fast ( we have 300 members and each workshop generally only allows 24 to register) so releasing the announcement that the workshop is open for registrations in the middle of the night really doesn’t work well for a really popular workshop. We need the option to control the time that the email announcement is scheduled to go out until a time of day when most people are awake and likely to see the email (and have an equally fair shot at being able to register.)

The recent (April 2023) change to sending event announcement emails has made this feature worse! Now all event announcement emails (and event reminder emails) are queued for sending starting at midnight on the day scheduled.
This feature has gone from tolerable to miserable.

I would like to see you be able to set a time for announcement 2 to be emailed out. Currently announcement 2 that is emailed out is notifying members an event is opening for registration. The email does not go out until the scheduled time of the event. Example if the event runs from 6-8pm announcement 2 will not be emailed out until 6pm they day registration begins. However, at midnight that day the event actually opens for registration. In our case the event is often full by the time the email goes out to the members to notify it is available for registration. Please update program to allow to choose a time for the email to go out.

Would like to make sure that you allow time of day scheduling for event announcements as well as reminders. Our events are very popular and people have to be able to be at home to sign up at the time we tell them, usually in the evening.

It is frustrating to be able to set a time on regular emails from the system, but not from the event dashboard. I guess that is a work-around, don't use the announcement emails, but they are convenient for other reasons. I realize the time is not always exact, but it's much better than having to set an inappropriate time for the event to start.

I agree. This capability is great. However, I would also like to add that I would like to ad an additional option so that the event is not enabled on the website until the scheduled time of the event. We have a lot of highly attended events that get filled up in the early part of the day, while others wait until the time of day that the email goes out, and are not able to register because the event is already full.

I agree. I needed to send an email at 10 in the morning so as not to interfere with another email going out and had to do it manually. Setting a time shouldn't be that hard if you can set a day.
Same for other things like cancellation by member or closing the event.

This seems like a no brainer. Most of our events are in the evening, but we want reminders to go out in the morning or at least during business hours, not after people have gone home. Right now I have to either send them manually, which requires me to be available to at that time, or to schedule a non-event related email, which requires me to create a saved contact search to select the event participants and for some reason doesn't always work correctly.

The fact that the time can't be specified for an event announcement makes this feature virtually unusable for us.
We will be hosting 100+ lunch events this year. We do not want any of the announcements to go out during lunch. Nor do we want the final reminder on the day of the event to go out literally the minute the event is starting. It needs to go out at 8am or 9am the morning of the event--otherwise it's not exactly a reminder announcement, it's more of a "Too bad you've already missed the event" announcement.
So far, I've been manually creating the series of reminders offline, which is sort of a nightmare.
I know that timing might not be exact due to server loads and stuff, but every other system I've used to email people--HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp, Mailjet, etc.--can schedule down to the minute. Server loads should only delay the sending by a few minutes here and there.
This is one of my top requests of the system. Thanks!

Would be great to have the ability to send event reminders the morning of the event for our evening programs. I have to do it manually now because the day before isn't ideal and sending the reminder at the time the event starts defeats the purpose.

Can the system be programmed to only permit automatic emails during working hours? EG just send between 9am-5pm Mon-Friday or at times specified by the user.

Currently the announcements and reminders go out at the same time as the event is scheduled to begin. Some of our events are in the evening. Sending announcements/reminders to work emails when folks are leaving or have already left work is counterproductive. Sending them manually is an option but it requires a lot of extra setup and management. WA has a time-of day-option for manual emails, could you please implement them for event emails as well?

Allow event announcements and reminders to go out at a specific time, instead of only 24 hours in advance of the event. For example, if I have an event on Saturday at 7 PM, and I send it to people's work emails, many of them won't get the reminder at 7 PM on Friday. If I could set the reminder for Noon on Friday, people would get it at work before the day ends.

I wish I could pick the date and TIME I set reminders to be sent to my members. Many of my events are evening events. As it is now, the reminders are only sent at the time of the event "X" days prior. We all know that people are more likely to read emails upon beginning their work day, at lunchtime and at the end of the work day - not at 6:00 or 6:30 which is the start time of some of my events. I appreciate being able to use the "send now" button, but a lot of times I need to set the reminder to go out on its own. Can this be reconfigured so that we can set the time of the announcement reminders? Let me know if you have any any questions. Thanks!

I need to be able to control the TIME of when event announcements or reminders are sent. This is very important and I hope you will be adding this feature soon.
