Option to Settle refund/Credit to Donation
If we have to cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances.... It would be ideal to have an option in the system to "Cancel all" rather then manually clicking on each one and sending the email to each one. ALSO I would LOVE to have an option to settle the refund/credit on account to a donation if our members/contacts wished to still support us.

There are two different issues here and both deserve consideration:
1. The cancellation process for event registrations is cumbersome and needs improvement. An additional problem in this area is that automatic notifications only apply to those who have registered online and not to those who had to be registered manually by administrators.
2. The use of credit balances: Wild Apricot provides next to no support for this. *Any* credit balance available should be automatically settled against any new invoice or be available for donation. The "Public View" UI only displays the credit balance and does not offer members any options for its disposition. There should at least be a button to request a refund. -

Competing software has this feature even for free versions. Anything to increase donation capture/conversion rates, like making them super convenient to donors (quick and painless, like ApplePay easy.)

This certainly would save some time. I usually process the refund and then process the donation. Would be great to automate it to a single click.

Megan's comment is worthy of being added to WA. Also, I agree with the registration cancelation of the event and all registrants at one time. We have events with hundreds of folks, so the emails to them and the time it takes for our very small staff to do this is unreal.

Just struggled to do the same thing, with an embarrassing number of invoices and notes being sent to the donor.

I found that you can actually do the refund through Affinipay. I also use their Quick Bill on their app for additional last minute addons, i.e. Silent Auction, onsite book sales, etc.
I definitely like Megan's suggestion below.

I support creating the option for attendees to turn their registrtaion nito a donation as well.
