User Friendly / Dynamic Calendar
We could use a calendar that is more dynamic. We would like to post events from other organizations and our own meetings that do not require registration.

Is there a way to post reminders on the Calendar Widget as well as events that are hosted out of town by other Orgs that do not require event registration? If not that would be great to have on the member only view of the calendar.

Yes you are adding other organization's events to your own events list. A recent post requested archiving events in an effort to clear clutter from one's event list. Adding a lot of calendar posts (we have 20 chapters with monthly meetings) will lengthen the events list a good deal. It's doable but a bit cumbersome - and since currently one cannot archive past events the list gets longer and longer all the time. Ideally our events would be our events and calendar posts would be calendar posts - separate things. The newer repeating events option will be helpful though in that I would not have to create 12-20 separate events every month!

Not understanding the question. It is very easy to add events for other organizations or meetings - just do not enable registration (but make sure that they are public).
These all show up in our list view or calendar view.
