An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedI'm surprised actually that nobody came up with this idea before - having multiple invoice templates that to be used for different workflows (i.e. one template for applications, another - for event registrations). This is especially important for custom invoices.
But problem with payment instructions is also interesting. You are basically talking about ability to have a set of instructions somewhere and be able to choose specific one for a specific invoice, right? We did not consider this at this angle. Can you give more comments on that?

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedWhat about using http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Routing+of+system+emails ? You can setup routing of membership emails to your membership administrators. This will not resolve the issue (you want specific level email go to specific people) but it simplify things for other admins.
And I would like to hear others on that - is it something important for you?

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThanks for the suggestion - we've been thinking about this for some time but haven't come to any conclusion yet. From your points above I can see one scenario - keeping database of boats (or, generally speaking - any type of item) that members themselves can update, add new items, delete old ones, etc.
This is somewhat similar to membership database itself
* form with fields need to be defined (= membership fields)
* users need to be able to add new boats (= membership application)
* users need to be able to update boat profile (= login and update own profile)
* users need to be able to search (= membership directory)This is quite a change in the system but I like the general idea of having that - not just for boats but for any kind of items.
Any other has comments on this? Any real life examples except boats that can benefit this kind of change in the system?

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedInteresting, we did not do anything :) We will try to investigate this.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedGood point, thank you.

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedWe have this request in our queue but there is no progress here, sorry. And I cannot provide any workaround for you now - sorry again. I have added your comment into our internal system but we have a lot of things in progress now so it's not going to be a quick change.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThanks for your input, this is a good point. Not sure though when we can do this.

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedNo. As soon as we did, I'll post here, but it's not going to be soon, sorry.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedIn the very next release any page access to be controlled separately (no RAS pages anymore). But for showing all pages in menu - cannot promise.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedI joined your post to already existing thread about same suggestion.

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedMoving this to the Wishlist forum - let's listen what other people say about this idea. In general we speak about ability to NOT to show non-member registration types for members.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThank you for clarification.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThe answer is no. But....
Could you please explain why you need this? Usually members receive better price so they will not use publicregistration type. I'd like to understand the underground reason for such a need (with examples of registration types).

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedGood question. Basically, it's replying and giving some examples from your perspective (scenarios or situations). We do not have yet a good voting system where everybody can see his votes, etc. For now you can go to your profile http://forums.wildapricot.com/users/86845675-malcolm-de-c in the forum and and see your recent posts.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedMalcolm, I'm not sure I understood your question. The Wishlist forum itself is a place for community to publish there ideas and communicate around them.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedBefore 4.3 release it was named "To member view" but only members were able to log in. Now any contact can log in so we renamed the text. Does anybody else find it confusing?
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedRobbi, in the very recent release v4.3 any admin now can switch to "public view" and back (using top right corner link).
Is it enough for you to close the topic?
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedAs far as I understand, what you actually need is an ability to review your site like from point of view of a specific member (level and status). I.e. how it looks for member of "Level 1" or "Level 2", for non-member, for "Lapsed member", etc. Right?

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedIt's not clear what the suggestion is. You can use donation date as a date field, add custom checkbox field into donation form and use Export of donations after that to search donations that can be claimed.
Can you give more details on what you'd like to have in WA relating to this matter?

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedI decided to join couple of posts into one and move it to Wishlist. I want to focus this thread on printable event calendar. What are basic scenarios for this? Why current print button does not work for you?

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedYes, thank you. We will consider this during analysis.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedAlex, it's not clear of what filters and checkboxes you are talking. Could you please tell what system screens do you keep in mind?
As Dmitri mentioned, our idea was to allow use saved searches in filters of lists (like contact lists, donation lists, etc.). So administrator can create a search of required records, save it and later use it quickly as a filter.

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedI think that current logic of Lapsed/Active is ok for most customers (active members with past dates renew since old date, lapsed members always renew since current date). It's not ideal but acceptable.
What is actually a problem is that active members with past renewal date, when they make renewal, still can get renewal date in past - which is bad. So I would like to focus this requests on this particular problem.
Comments?
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedI agree with rmillstein - I also cannot imagine why anyone would want their members to pay back but not enough to keep them current. For me this looks just like a small oversight from our side.
Any comments from others?

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedOne of the features we are planning for the very next release 4.3 is managing undeliverable emails. System will automatically handle bad responses and mark such emails in contact's email log. Also blasts emails will show overall statistics of failures (not only opens and clicks as they show now). Would this resolve your problem?
Sales taxes are in work now (probably to be part of the next 4.4 release) - see http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308920-archive/suggestions/8834566-setting-up-sales-taxes-in-wa-7455
About invoice customization - you can actually customize them in Settings / Invoice but as far as I understand you do not want the system to put predefined word "Membership..." into invoice lines, right? This is a good point, but I'm not sure for now what can be done here.
