An error occurred while saving the comment BAWSC WebMaster commentedPersonify the lack of Administrators being able automatically subscribe members to forums as our members would prefer is the number 1 reason we are considering moving to a competitors solution. Changing the default to be "subscribed" instead of each member having to manually subscribe should not be that hard of an enhancement to implement as members always have the option to unsubscribe and/or change their notification settings in their profile.

An error occurred while saving the comment BAWSC WebMaster commented@katya Tyukina and the rest of Personify staff, why can't this long standing enhancement request be implemented. This is the number one request from our members that they automatically be subscribed since they can easily unsubscribe or update their profile if they don't want the forum notifications.

An error occurred while saving the comment BAWSC WebMaster commentedNote being able to automatically be subscribed to forums is the number one complaint of our members using Wild Apricot. When they join the club and become members they want to automatically be subscribed (opt-in) to all available forums and then un-subscribe (opt-out) an individual forum.
This is critical now that 5.0 is done please make this a top priority item to fix such that the default is "subscribed" or at least make it setting the site admin can change the default as some clubs might want to leave it the way it is today. Allowing a bulk load would be an acceptable work-around. Key point our members are frustrated they are not getting forum noticiations by default and do not like that they have to go into each forum and subscribe.
An error occurred while saving the comment BAWSC WebMaster commentedOur club members also want to be subscribed to Forums by default when they become members automatically versus having to go into each and every forum and subscribe. Our Board of Directors would also really like to get a report of who is subscribed to what forums. Please make this a priority to add to a future release

An error occurred while saving the comment BAWSC WebMaster commentedI agree this is a critical missing feature for our water-ski club. Today we have to have members download word documents to fill out forms and then email to respective club officers/board members. Most common is reimbursement request form. Ideally this should just be a page on our Wild Apricot site where member logs in it pre-populates their member information, they select from a drop down their expense type, upload copy of receipts and then submit form that goes to Club Treasurer to issue payment.
An error occurred while saving the comment BAWSC WebMaster commentedHaving the abiltiy to create on-line forms in WA is critical. We really would like to create a reimbursment form that members could fill out online that would pull their member profile data e.g. address, email to request reimbursments from our Tres. and attach copies of receipts. Ideally when they hit the submit button the Tres. would be notified a payment request has been made and process the transaction either by putting a credit in the members WA account or sending them a check.

Even though it is not a direct implementation, I hope this could be helpful:
We just launched integration with Integromat platform, which helps to build automated workflows. We also provide several templates for quick start, and one of them allows to copy google calendar events into WA events. So if you share a google calendar for events submission, then the scenario could copy submitted events into your Wild Apricot account.
You can try this integration by this link https://www.integromat.com/en/integration/2275-copy-google-calendar-into-wild-apricot-eventsBAWSC WebMaster supported this idea · -

Sorry for the late update.
The first step was finished and emails can now be carbon copied to contact’s alternative emails. To do so the contact fields which store the alternative emails must be explicitly marked on the email setting page.
Unsubscribing will unsubscribe all alternative emails simultaneously because they all belong to the very same account. The person clicking “unsubscribe” is warned about this on the unsubscribe page.
For now we paused the development of this feature. but not for good. :) So I’m changing this wish status back to “collecting comments”.
Thank you everyone for a valuable feedback.

An error occurred while saving the comment BAWSC WebMaster commentedOur club also strongly supports this enhancement request as majority of our members are families where we have different rates for events based on age of the attendees. Today families have to create multiple registrations for events with no way to let the event chair know the are all together.
Our club is also accepting Zelle for event payments due to the no processing fees and easy movement of funds from members to the clubs bank account. The challenge is our Treasurer has to inform the event chairs when Zelle payments have been received so they can mark them paid in Wild Apricot. It would be great if WA could just directly accept Zelle as a form of payment and record the event attendee as paid
