I was able to get almost all the required functionality by creating a gift certificate "event". But I hit a snag with the unique serial number and the ability to automagically email the certificate...Can you think of any work-arounds?

For both legal and safety reasons we need our members to review and update their profiles at least annually. The ideal time would be as part of the renewal process. I wish we could turn off the "Renew until..." button until they have updated and saved their profile. Any chance??

Perhaps admin could elect to remove the link to renew until after member has viewed profile and responded to required questions.

In addition to Jarren's reason for requesting this, we need to ensure for liability reasons that our members have answered some critical questions and agreed to our waiver.

I believe that if a member clicks the link in the renewal letter to "View invoice online", (s)he never sees her/his profile.

Currently, it is extremely cumbersome if an event registrant must reschedule his attendance after paying his fees. We offer a series of identical training sessions every year, and often a registrant finds he must change the session he will attend.

We definitely need this capability. We offer about 10 identical learn-to-row sessions during the summer months, and as people's plans change, they often request a date change.
P.S. We continue to be thrilled that we implemented WA. It has made a huge difference to our organization. Thanks for such a truly great product.

Including a member's email address on the Aged Receivables report would greatly simplify the effort required to contact members in arrears. After exporting to Excel, the column could be used to populate an email dunning them.

We have started analysis for this issue, and it seems that key problem is how Wild Apricot handles level changes close to renewal date. The system is currently designed to collect the full new level amount and set renewal date according to new level renewal policy. All prepaid amounts for old levels are disposed. Moreover, since no prorating occurs, the new level might be effective only for a few days.
As a first step, we suggest to redesign how level change is working and add prorating there:
- Level would be changed immediately, as now
- Remaining portion of old membership level payment will be applied to new level
- For new levels with specific renewal date (e.g. annual levels with renewals Jan 1st) apply the pro-rating settings for new applications:
- Allow member to pay only a pro-rated amount of the new level fee (e.g. six months before renewal…Susan Adams supported this idea ·

Our need is a bit different:
We have a three-month membership (Learn to Row, or LTR) that costs $250, after which time some people choose to become regular members (Annual Row/Scull), which costs $450. These three-month memberships start at various times during the summer, coinciding with our LTR training sessions.
If someone wants to become a regular member, and benefit from a prorated membership fee, it seems we must suspend and delete them, and then ask they to reapply. Right? This is onerous, as our membership application is pretty lengthy.
It would be tons better if they could just convert AND get their fees prorated, just like a new member.
We need to send emails to event participants on the day the event ends to explain their trial membership. Then we need to send emails a week before their trial membership ends and again on the day it ends. It would be great if we could modify the existing event emails to be sent a specified number of days *AFTER* an event. That would address our need perfectly.
