Allow wordpress sign-on in other direction - when a user logins in WA, he should be logged in in Wordpress too
Under the present implementation if a member logs on to the wordpress site they will be logged on to WA. However, the reverse does not take place; a member logging on to the WA site needs to log on again to get into the WP site. Since wordpress offers tons of speciality pluggins I am using a wordpress site to complement the features that WA does not have (and likely never will) I direct logged in members at the WA site to the wordpress site to fill in these specialty feature holes but the need to double login presents a confusing hurdle.

We have a Wordpress website with several Wild Apricot widgets integrated on it. It would be really useful if when members login in through Wild Apricot widget, they would be automatically lodged in to their Wordpress account too. Is this doable?

This feature is very important for WP integration because there are time when WA automatically logs users into WA (eg. when applying for membership or submitting a subscription form). When returning to the WP WA sees the user as loggin in but WP does not.
Also there are time when WA automatically sends a user to WA instead of back to the WP site. The user might then login on WA and get confused.

Totally support this idea. I would want my WA site as my main portal which can link to a secondary WP site. Maybe passing login session variables to WP if that's possible ?

Yes, if user is already logged into WA site (but not presently logged on to WP affiliated site) and then visits the WP site they would be auto-logged in to the WP site

Let me explain your case in my own words? Just to clarify your idea.
You have WP site and some users are already logged in on WA. When they open WP site they should click on Login button again to login to WP site as members.
And what you need is some additional function that check is user already logged in on WA or not and make auto-login to WP site.Am i right?
