Smartphone access (iPhone,Android etc.) - for admins
Any chance we could see an iPhone app for Wild Apricot? We'd love to be able to check our members and event info that way?
Actually, I personally would prefer an Android app for my phone. But I'd be happy to get an iPhone app for my iPod Touch as well.
Anyone else interested?
Released in Sep 2015

I'm very happy to announce that our first Wild Apricot iOS mobile app (for administrators) is ready for downloading on the App Store. Read more about its capabilities and limitations, as well as get a download link on our online help website:

The app we're releasing (September) is for admins, not for members - see http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308920-archive/suggestions/8834701-smartphone-access-iphone-android-etc-for-admi

What is the current thinking on timing of mobile app rollout? Will it be ready for implementation, or at least beta testing, in the next release?

How does this fit in with the mobile strategy and version 5?

Just want to post a quick update here - the development of iPhone app is in progress and we expect make it available in Q3 2014. The features of the app were already presented in this topic (see earlier comments)

Thanks for the fast reply. The customer service is great at Wild Apricot, that is why we use it.

Any update on the mobile app??

I think that there is some kind of misunderstanding here. When I mentioned that we are currently designing it, I was speaking about mobile app for administrators - which helps them to check in a person, or add new walk-in registration on the fly.
On the other hand, mobile registration for members or visitors - this is not something we are doing right now, unfortunately, but we'll definitely do something about it in future. Current approach is to make Wild Apricot sites mobile friendly (for example, using responsive design for themes) and due to that change event registration form on a site mobile friendly too.
We have not been thinking about creating special mobile app for event registrations only for members or visitor.

This looks great! This will be a huge help in managing events and using the web app platform should help to make sure it works across the board (iphone, android, etc).

Yes - this is being taken care of in a separate stream. See this blog post about our mobile roadmap: http://www.wildapricot.com/blogs/newsblog/2012/06/28/wild-apricot-software-news---june-2012

This looks great and will be a good help for us when registering attendees for our event.
Are there plans to make mobile-friendly versions of the pages? Our members would benefit greatly from an easy-to-use directory from their mobile device.

This looks great to me! I'm excited for the release. The attended/did not attend feature will be really helpful to both associations I work with.

It's been awhile since the last update on our mobile backend design process... But we've made some progress and want to share part of it with you.
Click the image below for a sneak preview of some mobile features we are working on right now:
Please, place your comments here, in this thread.
P.S. Keep in mind that we're still designing it and there is no timeline yet for the release date. Our current best guess is the end of this year, but it can change anytime.

Could you elaborate on the types of things you would like to do 'in list' ?
(I'm assuming 'in list' means some kind of bulk operation)
-
Bader commented
Great. Wish to have that ASAP.
It must includes Editing contacts, members and event attendees in List, rather than one-by-one (for admins).

Glad to hear you're as excited about mobile as we are! As soon as we have more updates to share we'll be posting them in this thread.
