Integrate Facebook Connect login option for members [9204]
Would you consider implementing Facebook Connect? http://developers.facebook.com/connect.php So that people can log onto our websites as members using their Facebook account information?
The next step would be a Facebook App that could then feed information into our members Facebook notifications areas!

I would view this as a make-or-break-it feature for your company! If you need confirmation from your existing customers, send this out in the form of a proactive poll. You are trying to measure "demand" in a VERY passive way. Overall, you guys are doing a great job. I am puzzled by your hesitation on this issue. Full integration as some have suggested below is mission critical guys.

Can you comment further re 'million hoops'? From my perspective all you need to do is fill out a simple registration form here.

Are you kidding me? It has received "few votes" because people have to jump through a million hoops to actually make a post on your forum. Besides, if someone wants a feature and you don't offer it, 99% of the time they don't take the time to tell you about it - they just go elsewhere.
I need FB connect and for that reason and that reason alone, am forced to take WA out of the running.

Creating a simple Facebook Connect or OAuth (or Open ID) Solution would be ideal for expediting the sign-up process for certain levels (particualrly free) of membership within the WA Member management system. This would prevent users from other social media platforms from having to re-create "another" account within WA while WA captures subscriber data. I would think that a solution like this could be greatly utilized by WA since the subscription model is based on contacts, the more accessible the creation of a contact becomes, a greater subscription base occurs.

I would also love something like this. OpenID would be ideal, but even facebook connect would be an improvement.

We are considering this but so far this request has received relatively few votes/comments so it is staying low in the queue.

I third that. Especially the google connect. Currently http://www.peninsulashops.com uses <I FRAME> for facebook implementation after randomly discovering unresolved complications with adding the facebook JS snippet within WA.

I second that! I have a basic 'Visitor' level for new visitors - registration would be much quicker if they could use Facebook Connect! (Or Google Connect, or openid, or ...)
