Bulk event management
Bulk event management (create/delete/modify) bulk delete can be done in the UI via checkboxes on the event list bulk create/modify could be based off spreadsheet export/import like we can do with contacts The current functionality is a serious impediment for us trying to add multiple events per week for several months ahead.

Our villages (all of which use WA for their websites) create several events weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually. This amounts to several hundred or even over a thousand events each year. After several years, we have several thousand events. It would certainly be a major advantage for our villages to be able to have bulk control, so that we could delete old ones in bulk.
A 50+ community we have ~50 regular weekly events weekly, everything from fitness classes, social events, card clubs etc. This will double as the community reaches 1000 by 2021. WA provides a wonderful 'electronic noticeboard' for us, news and information but ... the EVENT MODULE is woeful.
We would desperately like to be able to:
- delete past events quickly and easily, even in bulk, rather than the cumbersome current process
- schedule events on a weekly basis, but NOT as repeating sessions which are linked, list on every instance and also have to be individually removed by editing.
Ideally would like the same approach as Outlook - schedule individual repeat events on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Also include a button to automatically delete when nn weeks past.
The site is managed by volunteer residents, who are increasingly put off by the time-consuming needs of the events module.

We would like to archive past events as well. At least have the ability to reduce the amount displayed in the calendar widget.

We would like to be able to do a bulk removal of past events and a bulk removal of tags.
A few years ago, an enthusiastic volunteer created dozens of tags, so that now we have to scroll down the page past the large tag list to move from an event title to the location and date of the event That scrolling adds several seconds for every entry and we have hundreds.

I would LOVE to see an option to delete past events in bulk. I am doing some cleaning up of our website and discovered there are several years of past events that are still on there. It is going to take some time to remove them all.

I would also further emphasize the need to be able to filter across somewhat large numbers of events. Here is a scenario that we practice.
We host a growing 3 day conference of 700+ attendees with around 400 event sessions during that conference. Some are multi-session events that could take advantage of the recently implemented WA system of single registration for a multi-session event, while other events repeat but accept new registrants at these repeated sessions, while a few events consist of feeder sessions from which some attendees will continue to later sessions (think of a tournament for example).
Every year we have to recruit these events from event organizers the bulk of whom ran events at previous conferences. Both for the organizers and the administrators it is important to have useful access to these previous events. On the registration side the demand for these events has to be managed. Some events are so popular that they will fill up within a day of their being offered but the conference as a whole needs to be able to keep late registrants satisfied as well. If late registrants cannot get into any events they will be disappointed and some will start to demand refunds.
We have a system that does this but it is becoming obsolescent. The solution that we have adopted is to allocate a fixed percentage of the slots in the event for online registrations while we open the remainder during the conference itself. If we were to use WA during a conference we would have to do this on an event by event basis, potentially 400 times, in a short period of time.
We have a need to be able to search for and filter events by multiple storable search criteria and to modify subsets of those events en masse.
We need a way to delete past events in bulk or all before a certain date. The history becomes too long and it takes too long to delete one at a time. We have thousands.

Why do you want to add multiple events per week? Are they repeating (recurring) events? we have a dedicated thread on that and currently in process of analysis and design for that (though first steps would be simple) - see http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8825581-recurring-events-2528
