Automatically adjust join date to 1st of month
I would like the option to have join dates automatically set to the 1st of the month; the simplest is the 1st of the current month; more fancy option is 1st of current month if joined in the first half of the month, else 1st of next month.
Would also like for same logic to apply on renewals.

I do no see us doing this in the nearest future and there is no one supporting it. Do you want to keep it open? -

I only see in the renewal policy to set to either the Join Date, or to 1st or 15th of Jan, Feb, Mar, etc...... nothing about forcing to 1st of the month in which joined.
Am I missing something?

When you setup renewal policy for a membership level, you can setup renewal period (e.g. 1 month) and renewal date (1st or 15th; the options vary for different renewal periods). In this case, "Renewal due on" date field will be setup to the appropriate date (e.g. 1st) after membership application. Isn't this what you are asking for?
