Mobile app for members - register for events, search directory
Current situation:
Our mobile app is only accessible to administrators of an organization.
Desired situation:
Have a native app (apple + android) that useful for members (e.g. register for events, view directory, edit profile, etc)

Mobile app for members is the next step now and we have no progress here yet (and none expected in 2014)

Totally agree that this would be a great functionality. Members are online on their phones and where ever we get their attention, we want them to act immediately.

In other words, you are looking for a convenient way for members to access the directory and the event calendar from mobile devices, correct?

our members rely on the directory to stay in contact with each other
we would like an android and iPhone ap. that takes you to the directory and the event calendar.
it would be very useful to have the ability to automatically dal the phone or txt from the directory

I would kill for this capability!
I'm in the process of trying to make things more mobile friendly across my site (a very slow process),, but seems pointless if the mainfunctional components don't comply

We need something like this desperately. Specially for event registration. The regular Wa event registration page takes too long to load on a phone...
