The option for admins to manually add people to a wait list would be great.

Need an option to keep the waitlist open for signups after the registration close date.

The Wait List option is great, but I have two requests. Can we allow members to see who is on the waitlist, just as they can for those registered for the event? And can you allow admins to add people to the wait list?

The Event Wait List is a welcome addition however, we are unable to use it simply because those wishing to go on the waitlist want to know who else is listed. Can you provide an option, when in public view, to Show Waitlist?
I note that an individual who is on the list can only view their own booking .

We're adding a waitlist feature to the 5.7 release which is scheduled for December 7th. In this first iteration, admins would manually register or email contacts on the waitlist once spaces become available. Would it be possible to enable a waiting list option, for events with a restricted number of attendees? When a registered attendees cancels their registration the 1st person on the waiting list could receive an email to see if they are still interested, in case they aren't it would go to the next in line.

This looks great. A few questions: will you be able to "turn off" the waitlist by un-checking the box. For example, if the event has 50 spots open and they fill - then you get 50 more on a waitlist, it may be time to disable the waitlist at that point. Also- does the person pay the registration fee at the time they sign up for the waitlist or at the time a spot becomes available for the actual event?

Definitely need this feature. Not having it is forcing me to use Excel! Nooo! Please make this available as soon as possible. Thank you!

And another question: How do people move from the waitlist to actual event registrations when space becomes available? Is this automatic? Manual? Maybe that's what slides 6 & 7 are about? Not sure. Thx.

I just had a chance to review your design slideshow demo for this feature. Two comments:

1. Will there be a limit to the number of people who can join the waitlist? Not a critical feature but might be useful to some people, while your coding things.

2. I don't quite follow the purpose of slides 6 & 7. It looks labor intensive and redundant, but maybe I'm misunderstanding it. When someone registers for the waitlist, I would think a confirmation email goes out automatically, not via a manual email from an admin (slide 6). And I don't understand the purpose of confirming their waitlist registration (slide 7) after they've already signed up for the waitlist. Can you please clarify these two slides? Thanks.

This will be a great feature. We are currently tracking manually, so this will be very helpful.

That's a functionality we really need. I just checked the road map, but it still seems to be in development queue. Any idea when this will be released?
