Number of registrants
Registration and ticket purchases. We have had so much trouble with this feature. We really like the set up but about 10% goof it up and do not realize they are the first registrant and the box is for additional registrants. So, they enter the total in the box and they get to the next page and it charges them for an addition person. Out of a hundred it has happened at least ten times. It's a major problem and a major hassle. They email us and tell us the system tried to overcharge them. We have to cancel the previous order and then email them and explain it to them. Some of them buy again but more than half won't go through the process again. It stinks.
I suggest the box is for total guests. TOTAL and make sure the instructions are really clear. Or when they enter their information it automatically makes the box have one registrant. Then put another box for additional registrants. Or something clear and understandable.

In version 6.14 we added word ‘additional’ before ‘guests’ to indicate this fact and make it more clear for registrants.

Yes, this was very confusing. I phoned Support 3 times to make sure I had it correct. Next version maybe use the words "attendees" which includes the registrant and the guest(s). You could have a macro that adds registrant + guest count to be printed on the confirmation notice.

In the meantime, see the workaround at https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/35260510-update-the-registration-pop-up-for-rsvp-events-to (which should be merged with this item).

When guest registration is enabled, the verbiage "include _ guests" is confusing. Registrants think that they should provide the total number of people that they are registering, including themselves. The verbiage would be more clear if it said "include __ additional guests" with the word "additional" in italics.

Our members find the "guest" ticket wording confusing -- it's not clear that "guests" means tickets IN ADDITION to the one already being purchased. It would be much simpler to just have a "number of tickets" counter that the buyer can increment. As it is, we're instead using the store to sell event tickets because the interface is much more clear.
