Restricted access for online store feature

Currently our organization is implementing the online store feature and wanted to give restricted access to one individual to post products and oversee the daily operations of the store. However, under the present setup full access must be given to the individual. Having the ability to restrict access only to the store function would greatly enhance overall system security as currently available for membership, website, donations and events functions. This is something badly needed for security sake.

    I hope the upgrade includes the ability to delete an order rather than just void/cancel it! All our tests are sitting there in the list.

    This is a much needed feature and I hope the development team makes this a priority upgrade in the next release.

    I agree with all the comments.
    I would like to add that if I want my store manager to be effective, apart from being able to edit Membership field data they can ALSO see all the financials and can manage invoices. There is no way to separate out only invoices for the store which she should be allowed to edit and invoices for events, which she must not touch.

    I cannot believe that this functionality is missing! It would be irresponsible of me to give someone full access to member information just to sell merchandise! This needs fixed ASAP or the store is effectively useful to all but a leadership group of one.

    We cannot give full admin permissions to the person running the store it would leave too much scope for error.
    We need a "Store Administrator" option.

    I'm not giving out FULL Admin rights to someone who needs to do store orders. So, I'm stuck now being an order processor? Really?

    PLEASE! I need my store manager to run it, not me. I also don't like giving full FA privileges out, as you warn of also. Why not just add a Store Admin as a new type? Can add/delete products, have emails directed to him/her, etc.

    We also would like to be able to have an a limited administrator role that would only have access to the Store. The lack of this administrative option is precluding us from using the Store.

    It would be good to have an online store admin role, similar to membership, events and donations. I don't want to give the person who manages the shop full admin access
