Mobile App Customizations
Similar to gadgets on the web page, allow organizations to control which content appears on their mobile app such as:
- Event List
- Forums
- Polls
- Member Directory
- Custom Directories
- An app module built from a specific web WA web page
Given these options, I could build and customize my organization's mobile app to meet out needs. One organization's app may only contain a member directory. Another organization may only want to show events on their app. Someone else might chose to have all options on their app.

Making custom branding on App Store level is going to be a nightmare for Wild Apricot. It means that each app for each organization has to be published separately (uploaded, reviewed by App Store staff, enabled by WA). With our number of organization and number of employees, not worth of investments - until we charge some extra for it.
Branding inside the app, though, makes total sense for me and can be quite easily done.

I guess it wouldn’t be a “title screen”.. a splash screen would be more like it.

I am fine with telling my members to go to the app store download the Wild Apricot Member app. When they log into the app, that's when they will see the branding for our organization.

My first idea would be something as simple as a user defined logo in the settings that would maybe appear in the title bar, or just below it. Maybe even a title screen before the events screen appears, with the logo and saying “Hello <member first name>, welcome to the <association name>.

Hi,
First, I like the member mobile app.. shows promise, and I appreciate all the work that's gone into it.
Initial feedback we've had from limited testing is that the app is great, but there is nowhere in the app that the information is linked to the organization.
It would be beneficial to have some sort of organization branding within the app once a member has logged in.
It would be beneficial to have the app
