Make Mobile app for members available on Android
We just published members app for Android.

Is there a place where we can discuss the app? We may have little suggestions and nitpicks which would help polish it, but which no one would bother to vote for on the wishlist.
How about the Wild Apricot Membership Tribe on FB?
As for beta version - we are close to release the 1.0 version so no additional betas exprected except one we released in June: https://rink.hockeyapp.net/apps/fafdfad013004fce842711145d80d65b/
It contains only "Membership" part of the functionality but it's fully usable in this area.

I echo the comment from @Daniel_Friedman - the updates are helpful to know progress is being made (and prevent the "are we there yet?" constant question. If y'all are looking for Beta Testers (and have a signup form for that), please let us know. #AnxiouslyAwaitingAndroid :-)

@Kira, it will definitely be available in Q4, but I can't say in which month.

Great progress on the Android member app. Some reports of instability here.
When I switch to another app, returning to the app is impossible. Using alt-tab or the hard key, returns to a blank app screen without an UI or logo.
I have to terminate the app with the x button in upper right corner. Starting it up again is works fine until I switch again. Seems that switching to other apps makes it hang.
Device: Samsung Tab E 8.0"
16GB of RAM, 2GB microSD card installed
I installed the Admin app as well and now I cannot get the member app to hang again. Will let you know if there is a problem again.
I love your platform but I have to agree you shouldn’t have rolled it out until it was for both. Many of our members are upset by this. We have ages 30 to 98 and people feel we were unfair to have only had an app for a portion of our membership. What would be Very helpful is to a an approximate timeline for the android release.

Larry, Team Mobile was talking only about Mary's request for a map gadget.
As for the entire Android app, they responded to our comments, moved it up in priority and are working hard on it. It is a major project and I can only imagine what it took to move it to the top of the list.
So we penalize users of android phones. If you are going to release an app it should be for both platforms. bad decision on your part for increasing rates and leaving out a whole group of members
Mary, this feature isn't in our roadmap.
Feel free to create a new idea here. The more votes it'll get the more likely we'll add it in the future.
Very exciting as we can't promote the app unless it's for both iPhone & Android. Our volunteers volunteer at over 100 locations. Will this app include a Map gadget for custom Google maps?
It would be better to not mix up different ideas.

As a side note: our members search seeks through a first name also. So entering a "Michael" into the search field will show all Michaels in the list.
Can I suggest to provide the ability to display members by first last or last, first. Only because some don't know other people's last names and might make it difficult to find them in the directory.
To make an Android version we need to develop a whole new app with the same functionality. It takes a lot of time. As soon as we'll release the 1.0 version, all new features will be implemented on both platforms simultaneously.

I use mobile apps for my other clients for event registrations. Yes the iOS version always gets submitted first but once it's approved the Android version quickly follows. Why is there such a lag time here? Don't you realize you service both kinds of users?
We don't have a product we are ready to show you for now. But we think about beta tests when the Members block will be finished.
Can you accept beta testers for the members app?
