We have started analysis for this issue, and it seems that key problem is how Wild Apricot handles level changes close to renewal date. The system is currently designed to collect the full new level amount and set renewal date according to new level renewal policy. All prepaid amounts for old levels are disposed. Moreover, since no prorating occurs, the new level might be effective only for a few days.

As a first step, we suggest to redesign how level change is working and add prorating there:

    - Level would be changed immediately, as now - Remaining portion of old membership level payment will be applied to new level - For new levels with specific renewal date (e.g. annual levels with renewals Jan 1st) apply the pro-rating settings for new applications: - Allow member to pay only a pro-rated amount of the new level fee (e.g. six months before renewal…

    Great. Thanks for the clarification.

Not monthly (they are allowed), only those with recurring payments active.

Almost all of our members with recurring payments are "monthly." Which is why our monthly levels aren't options... Is there an easy answer as to why monthly recurring-payment members can't use discounts?

Actually, only members who pay yearly are eligible... monthly members and free members are not able to use coupon codes:

Currently as I understand it, coupon codes are only available to yearly member levels... is there a plan to have that available to all member levels (monthly, free)?

We currently offer a %15 discount to events for all of our members and have to manually create two registrations for each registration type...

If you do plan on doing this in the future it would be incredible to have the option to have the discounted price be rounded up or down so we don't have to deal with cents...

Our organization would also benefit from a system like this.
