An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment It's not an easy task for taking into account actual gateway's fees - they might be different for each transaction (e.g. different types of credit cards, oversees transaction, etc). Not sure even if it's technically possible...

An error occurred while saving the comment Agree with Robin that PayPal button is the most suitable workaround. Couple of other options that come to mind:
1. Always charge in one currency - e.g. in USD. If member pays by CAD, conversion will be held automatically by credit card company.
2. Another options is to create a separate site with another currency and use some of it's pages in widgets. But this implies having 2 WA accounts and having duplicates of contacts database - so this is not a good option.
But all of the above are just workarounds and all accounting in single WA account will be still in one currency
An error occurred while saving the comment We will update the status of the thread when we start any real work here, but I cannot say when it will happen - we have quite a few of higher priority issues
An error occurred while saving the comment Thank you Robin, I couldn't have made a better answer!

During complete redesign we have consciously removed some features from old dialog in sake of ease of use or just development timeline.
We will gradually update dialog with new features/improvements, meanwhile Please post any ideas you have into this thread.
Meanwhile you can use old file management under Website-Files tab in admin backendAn error occurred while saving the comment Renamed idea to focus on all improvements for insert image dialog

An error occurred while saving the comment Sounds reasonable. We are working on improving Newsletters right now and we will consider including these headers (or their modification) into scope of release.

An error occurred while saving the comment Renamed thread to be more focuse on problem
An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for detailed comment, your ideas make perfect sense.
I think we have several separate issues here:
Simple increasing size of member's profile photo is discussed in separate thread http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8825980-change-the-default-image-size-for-picture-fields-a . It is already designed, but not allocated any development slot as of now - we have other features to deal with. You can always track up-to-date progress in our roadmap http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Product+roadmap .
Next is about basic photo editing when uploading. It sound reasonable and I want other members of community leave their replies and ideas what functionality is required.
For now I'm thinking on basic crop and rotate features when uploading any photo (member's profile picture or photo album) but please add your ideas as well to this thread.
Next issue is about admin managing member's album's via WebDAV. This is already implemented - all albums are available in SiteAlbums folder - more on this in our help article https://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Uploading+files+in+bulk+using+WebDAV . If you want something more - please start a separate thread to keep wishlist more focused - one thread per feature.

An error occurred while saving the comment When level is changed, new level renewal dates and fees apply. No prorating can be applied currently (see help http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Renewal+date+calculation#Renewaldatecalculation-Formemberlevelchanges ).
It means that if your member updates to new level (say, Gold membership) on July 1st, and renewal date for Gold membership is July 15th, he will receive renewal notification for the full price of Gold membership before July 15th (according to renewal reminders setup).
The same works if renewal date is linked to application date (e.g. renew yearly on application date). This is discussed in these threads:
* Prorate membership level upgrades http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8825686-prorating-membership-level-upgrades-7030
* Change membership level during upgrade http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8826244-provide-a-way-to-change-membership-level-during-reIf this is not your case, please elaborate more

An error occurred while saving the comment Hello,
It seems the matter is in Privacy settings, nevertheless:
If "Organization" field privacy settings are set to "Members", this field will not be automatically filled in when registering without logging in. Other fields, e.g. First or Last name, have privacy settings set to "Anybody", thus are always filled in automatically.
Since members can change privacy settings of the fields as they want in their profile, this can differ from member to member. There are two ways to solve the problem:
1. Change Organization field privacy settings to "Anybody". (You can do it for your whole contact base at once, see here: https://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Member+privacy+settings ). To prevent further changes by members you can lock this field privacy settings.
2. Require members to log into site prior to registering. In this case all fields will be autofilled, since system knows the user and can fill fields w/o compromising anybody's privacy.

An error occurred while saving the comment We have finished analysis of this thread and starting design.
The focus is to highlight forum topics with updates since last visit.
There are also a number of other topics, mentioned in this discussion, but NOT included in scope of current issue - Adding documents http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8825731-uploading-documents-in-forum-posts-5178 and images http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8826838-insert-images-into-forum-posts-15570 to forum posts - another thread, part of our current roadmap.- Moving and merging http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308920-archive/suggestions/8833660-moving-and-merging-forum-posts-6464 forum posts - is planned for release 5.3. currently- Forum search - keyword search will be covered in more general issue of Website text search http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308920-archive/suggestions/8831329-website-text-search-1481 also planned for 5.3, forums search http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8827375-forum-search-15596-1481 itself will be revised after gathering more feedback.- Finding most active forum topics - I've started a special thread http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8827843-find-most-active-forum-topics on this to gather more opinions

An error occurred while saving the comment Sorry, I was too quick with my initial answer and confused Photo album gadget storage with Member's photo albums. These are two different beasts and there's currently no way to access Member's albums via WebDAV.
Thanks for suggestion!

An error occurred while saving the comment Good news about testing area - we have finished analysis and design of it!
The key driver for analysis and design of the issue was current process of theme switching. Main problem with current theme switching workflow is that new theme is published directly on live website. For many sites, especially customized ones, automatic transformation to new theme might not go smoothly – and live site will be broken. This is a major issue, stopping people from trying new themes, including the newest responsive themes.
So we decided to introduce a preview mode – a special edit mode for site pages, where changes appear only to the administrator in an isolated environment, not affecting the live site. This is helpful not only for theme switching, but for any site page edits as well – be it editing a single page or even making a heavy customized site using theme overrides.
While you are making changes to the preview site, the live site continues to work. Your visitors and members can register for events, apply for membership, make forum/blog posts – all public workflows remain as is. Administrators can continue work on non-website activities – making events, working with finances, etc.
Once your have finished making updates to the site, you can publish to your live site all the changes made in preview mode, or discard them all.
See the current design mockups in the presentation below.

The issue is now in the development queue, and you can always check current status in our roadmap http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Product+roadmap . Feel free to add your comments and suggestions to the forum thread.
I've verified this with our Wild Apricot Payments partner - this is not technically possible at the moment - all fees are calculated long after transaction happened.
However, I see it as reasonable request - let's see what others say about this.
