Yes! We would like to add an application fee to help offset the costs of Wild Apricot. We have made a work around by adding a new Membership Level called Probationary Member and made the Membership amount, $25. Please add a feature for us to charge a fee upon application.

Hello everyone,
I've been working on this idea for a while, and most of you have described the same trap. You need a volunteer to run one or several events, and the only way to let them is to hand over your whole contact database and your finances. But there are different events and different needs. So I'd like to test the shape with you before we build it.
The idea is to maintain the current role of Event Manager, which currently grants access to all events. However, you can also limit this access and assign the person to specific events by choosing from one of three levels of access:
- Check-in assistant - welcome people at the door, handle walk-ins. Sees their assigned events and who's registered. Checks people in, signs up whoever turns up, takes payment at the door. Cannot edit the event or its registrations.

Yes, we have 5 chapters and not all the leaders want event notices for the other chapters, we would like to only have specific Event Admins for Specific Events

Have you thought about adding a separate Registration Type called "Sponsorship" for the amount you would like a company to sponsor for?

For our events we put the sponsor in the Event Details, Company Name, Logo, Link to Website. You can also add a registration type and allow only one and sell it for the amount of the sponsorship.

We just launched integration with Integromat platform, which helps to build automated workflows. We also provide several templates for quick start, and one of them allows to copy Wild Apricot events into google calendar. So you can share this google calendar and you members can subscribe to it.

I would like to add to this idea! We had a similar experience of members complaining about "too many emails" being sent by the system. My argument was that each email had a PURPOSE but it would be great to have a check box at the bottom of each action that would cause an email and have it pre-checked for them to uncheck if they do not want a message. For instance, a member application have a check box at the bottom that says "send me a confirmation of my application by email" so they can choose NOT to get an email in that situation.
