Calendars that sync with Google Cal or Outlook
Calendars that sync with Google Cal or Outlook
Right now, parents on our ski team must manually click each event to "add to my calendar," but since we have as many as 2-3 events per week, that is a burden. Instead, they would love to subscribe to a series of events (for instance, all events that share a given tag).
We just launched integration with Integromat platform, which helps to build automated workflows. We also provide several templates for quick start, and one of them allows to copy Wild Apricot events into google calendar. So you can share this google calendar and you members can subscribe to it.
You can try the integration by this link https://www.integromat.com/en/integration/2276-copy-wild-apricot-events-into-google-calendar

As Integromat migrates to Make, this solutions seems broken.
I don't see this on the Make side and you can't create an Integromat account anymore. Please actually fix WildApricot, it's a great feature to have a webcal link support. -

This really does seem like a basic function that should be integrated into Wild Apricot. I just tried to set this up in Integromat and it almost made me cry. I was able to give permission across platforms, enter the API, and everything after that was absolutely unintelligible. The help documentation does not match up to what I am seeing on my screen. I have given up.
We use your service because we do not have the IT skills to do this kind of thing on our own.

My calendar events keep duplicating everytime this sequence runs.
Does anyone know what setting I need to change in this integration? https://www.integromat.com/en/integration/2276-copy-wild-apricot-events-into-google-calendar -

The Wild Apricot calendar gadget should have the ability for users to subscribe to it without having to add and configure a separate tool such as Integromat. Calendar subscription is a basic, essential feature, especially for clubs and organizations.

An iCal feed is a basic feature for any calendar. This isn't a request to allow full sync between different calendaring systems, just for another calendar to subscribe to the Wild Apricot calendar.

Please implement an iCal feed for various collections of events (to start, "all" and one for each tag).
The ability to allow members to subscribe to the calendar through a simple interface is essential (consider, as an example, the instructions provided at
https://www.smsclientreminders.com/how_to_share_your_calendar_with_other_applications).As great as integromat is at many things, it does not provide a UX that will work for my members.
These iCal feed urls could be published surfaced as a new view under /admin/events/ or /admin/settings/events/. Eventually a gadget in the CMS would be nice.

I have no idea how I would implement this -- can you provide instructions, please?

PLEASE add this feature!

Yes this is a great feature. Team snap (which we use for sports allows you to subscribe via iCal and it auto updates events.

We would love this feature, too! Our members have starting asking for it as well.

Please add this feature! (for all the reasons already listed)

many of our members belong to multiple organizations. Being able to show activities in our personal calendars is a tremendous benefit to individuals. In the near future we will be rolling out WA from 450 memberships (850 members) to 2210 memberships and over 8,000 individual members.

Any updates on this?

I support this on the general grounds that the more ways that we can automatically link Wild Apricot data to social web systems (Google calendar, Outlook calendar, Facebook, Meetup, Twitter, SMS, etc.) the better.

I vote to support this item! Our charity organization has a year-round calendar of events and we'd like to be able to create an iCal feed from all the events with capabilities to have all our members download all events for the year in one swoop vs. all of us having to go in manually and download each calendar item one at a time. Please make this a priority for when considering future enhancements to the platform.

We have a number of members (including me) that sync our Club's Google calendar to our mobile and desktop calendars. We want our events to appear on their personal calendars so they don't book another event and then discover one of our WA events should have been listed.

Use Google calendar instead of Wild Apricot

Any intentions for the Wild Apricot calendar to upload to clients existing calendars? i.e. Google, Apple, etc., calendars?
It would be very convenient as members/clients can look at their personal calendar instead of looking in 2 places for events.

Our group sets the following year's calendar of (26) events in December each year. Once finalized, our members all go out and add these events to their calendars. It would be so nice to have a feature that can add all upcoming events to your calendar in one swoop. Vs. having to go into each event and add all 26 to your calendar separately for each of our members...

Yes! It appears that "Frank", a WA developer, had started to work on this until Google changed interfaces.
I also vote for the linkage between WA events and an external calendar (e.g., Google Calendar). Besides the integration with individuals' calendars, one can embed Google Calendar within a Web page.
As far as I know, WA doesn't have a "calendar at a glance" feature.
