      From Ed "I'd like to see our own membership numbers vs. the system ID as well. However, I'd like it set up to have a system option to automatically increment my member's Club ID# (say by 1 or 5 or 10 or ?) and not allow the user to edit it. Let the user display it or not in Privacy settings. Let Admin override the entry if needed. It's a nice way to see how many members join over a period of time - avg. per month, year, etc. when a I do a data extract."

        Your case with User ID field looks clear and logical, at first glance don’t have any conflicts to add this option.

        About 'Membership level' field. I think you can use the following workaround: on Privacy settings page select ‘No access option’ and Lock this field for changes. So all members will not be able to share it.

              We have started development of the feature. And decided to focus on the simple solution:
              – expand work of Discount coupon to renewals and level change
              – ability to specify for which membership process the discount works (for example, only for new applications)
              – add new restriction: ‘Available for active members only’, for preventing members with expired date use the discount

              We’ll keep you updated on progress.

              Yes, the restriction 'For active members only' will be optional.
              Some organizations don't want to give discounts for lapsed members, some not.

                  The question is why you need to keep this information if you reject membership?
                  As the workaround, I can suggest you yo use Suspend function. In this case, the system doesn't delete all this information.

                  Also, I merged your idea with existing one about tracking rejected applications.

                    As I understand, in your case you need to calculate the renewal date for new members based on the date when they pay for their membership.
                    There are other administrators who need the opposite, current behavior when renewal date calculates based on join / invoice generation date.

                    Both cases are valuable – I’ll wait for others to comment on this. Probably there should be an option in the level setup so admin can choose appropriate behavior.

                      Is it about the lapsed members who were archived and when decided to register to event? So they restored automatically as with lapsed membership status and counted on the membership level.

                      We are going to review this logic and will not restore membersрship if it was suspended.
                      But don't have any estimation yet.

                        The Send message function is available from Member's Public profile. But still, agree that it's confusing to see it on the own profile page. The only situation where it might be necessary is to check how the sending of a message works - send it to yourself.

                        And of course, the information about who will receive this message must be presented on the form. Now, it is not obvious.

                            Corinne, sorry to hear about that situation.

                            Unfortunately, we can't do something quickly in the product. As a quick solution, I can suggest you use Privacy or Incognito mode in your browser. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Privacy_mode

                            You can open Wild Apricot account and log in as admin in one tab and WordPress in Privacy mode (or viсa verse) and will not have the conflict with Wild Apricot Public/Admin modes.

                              Josh, the system works exactly as you described your request.
                              If member decided do not renew and so his status changed to Lapsed, the next time when he decides to pay, new renewal period will be calculated from the current date, from now. So they don't have to pay for past periods.

                              Seems that in your case, on your association, some members initiated renewal process and invoice was generated (in March for April), when they decided do not renew/pay. This invoice still exists, so the payment settled with this invoice and the renewal date calculated based on the information in it.

                              You can void such old renewal invoices for lapsed members and next time they decide to sign-up, the new renewal invoice will be generated.

                                  Thanks to all who commented here and participated in our UX test. We analyzed all comments and feedback and started development of this feature.
                                  This thread contains a lot of comments and requests and changes look pretty huge, so we decided to ‘eat the elephant’ bit by bit.
                                  The first step will be implementing membership cards for new / renewed members. Administrators can create the card and publish it in the member profile automatically so that members could download and print it.

                                  Dawn, we just start the development and unfortunately don't know when it will be released. Our nearest release will be in a month, without this feature. Probably the next one, in summer.

                                    As I understand, the issue is that members can't sing-up themselves as part of the firm. The system should recognize them somehow that they are part of the firm or they can select the firm manually. Now they can sign up only as individual members or admin adds them to the firm. Am I right?

                                    The bundle membership itself is a big area, and working on small changes could solve problems one-by-one.
                                    Some of your notes already correspond to other existing suggestions, smaller than this one. For example, about fields for bundle administrators only (https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932/suggestions/8827555) or adding contacts to bundle (https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932/suggestions/8826889).
                                    I copied your comments to these requests. But we still appreciate your comments.

                                    Another one note: "Only the bundle administrator would pay and all of the contacts associated with the bundle would be free. I am not seeing a way to do this." Probably you meant something different, but it's already in our product. Only bundle admin pay for application and renewal membership, not bundle members.                                         No Search box, all Privacy settings are applied, you can select who is listed and that fields you want to display.
                                        Also, you can put several gadgets on one page.

                                          We really appreciate more details from you about this situation with member's activation.
                                          Now, in case, then admin record payment for renewal invoice, the Lapsed member becomes Active. So, seems that it works. The question is in what situation it doesn't work? Can you give more details? It will help us to investigate the issue and fix it.

                                            Bruce, you can change bundle another way.
                                            For example, you need to move the bundle member from AA to BB. You can open bundle administrator's contact details, bundle BB, membership tab and use 'Add member' function. Select bundle member in the dialog.

                                            Dale, if you suspend the membership of bundle member it becomes non-member (contact). Why this doesn't work for you? Or you need to delete membership at all, not suspension.
