Allow a single registration type have multiple prices depending on date
Currently I have to create separate registration types for each discount code, of which we have three (student plus two types of presenters) and regular registrants, so four total. Add those to the registration times (early, regular, and onsite), and now I have 12 for a single event. Even when I hide the date-based ones, not only is it confusing and unattractive for the registrant, it is also difficult to manage with any little edit since I have to do it 12 times.
Ideally, there is a single registration option. The price reflects the date (early, regular, onsite) that I set up. And it automatically calculates any discount code entered.

This a very important concern for us, we are currently having to create 3 versions of the same registration option for both members and non-members.
If would be much more desirable and simpler to set the date range for registration option price either for the full event for with each reg. option. This would provide a more consistent register process and event admins would not repeat setting up the same option three times (for us means dozens and dozens of more options ) An Example would be, If a three day event started on 4/20/17, the user would set the dates once and price differences would happen automatically.
Early Rate 1/1/17 to 2/28/17
Base Rate 3/1/17 to 4/18/17
On site Rate 4/19/17 to 4/23/17 -

This is a great idea when working on conferences or big events. It would simplify a number of processes.

Events & registration types:
It would be very helpful if we could have the option of two (or three) rates for events: early bird registration rates
regular rate
late rate
with a beginning and end date rangesAs it works right now I have to duplicate the registration types - label one EARLY BIRD with an end date then a second one with a beginning and end date

My organization has a similar problem: We want to vary the cost of an add-on offer depending on the membership class. We have not found how to do this; we could either add a membership class for each potential combination, or provide a different version of the option for each membership class. Either one is ugly.

I agree 100%. I just posted something similar in a new wish list before I saw your post. I have like 12-15 event types when in reality it could be downsized to 3
Attendee
Exhibitor
Sponsorfrom there you should be able to add choices (sub category of registration types or drop down to choice (free or additional cost)
1. Attendee (seen by use as a registration type)
a.Full conference ticket (mouse over)
-Member (mouse over)
-.Non Member (mouse over)
b. Exhibit Hall Only

2. Exhibitor

3. Sponsorship

-Bronzeit looks messy, confusing to the user, time consuming to the admin, not efficient.
I could even break it down more but that might be too much to ask for. But I wish there were a way that when someone purchases a sponsorship you could set the system up to allow for the "free" exhibit space that comes with that particular leve they purchased. I have to enter them as a donor then enter them as a contact, then enter them as an exhibtor. export all donors and exhibitors to make sure I didn't miss anyone that gets a booth, and then in a spreadsheet sort by booth size, sort by level of sponsorship, assign a booth number and on and on it goes.
LASTLY REALLY WISH there was a way to incorporate membership in sponsorship. We give certain level of sponsors free or 50% off on membership. We have membership drives where we say join or renew now and get into the event for free. that is a complete nightmare to set up and track.
Hope we get a lot of likes so wild apricot will enhance to make some of these things easier for us admins

Instead of creating three different types of registrations for price increases (early, regular, onsite), set date parameters for a single registration type.
