Word Press Templates and Plugin
I would love a wordpress plugin that integrates wordpress into the Apricot membership database so that logins are seamless and various features of Apricot can be added to the wordpress publications. There are some tings that wordpress does better. ie categories, tags and local data storage, This would greatly expand the Apricot user base and add to flexibility.
This could be achieved though an integrated Theme that mirrors some of the default themes in Apricot Wordpress themes are also suitable for mobile devices

Another take on the WordPress plugin is to allow WordPress editors/contributors to post events, create contacts and create posts/forum discussions via the WordPress interface. I see that the API v2 supports some but not all of this potential.
The reason for this is to start to integrate posting content from a master WordPress site to a subsidiary membership site, in particular for posts that can be cross posted from a blog. There are social networking plugins that post to many social networks and in theory they could be adapted to hit Wordpress (eg SNAP is one such plugin).
