Membership Level "Other"
We're in the process of migrating to Wild Apricot and trying to figure out how to handle "Other" membership levels.
We have various pre-defined membership levels (e.g., Supporting, Sustaining, Legacy), which map to a particular $ amount. That's simple enough to setup in Wild Apricot.
However, we also offer members the flexibility to contribute an amount of their choosing if one of the pre-defined levels isn't an optimum fit (some donate more, some less). Prior to Wild Apricot, our online membership form presented all Membership Levels as radio buttons, and the fieldset concluded with an "Other" checkbox, accompanied by a text field for writing in an amount. Is this currently possible in Wild Apricot?
If not, is it being considered for a future release? And meanwhile, what do you recommend for a workaround?

I posted this many years ago, but still have the same need, and I've seen a few other similar requests in the community forum. Has anything changed in the last 8 years, or is your position still "We're not going to do anything about this?" We want to offer our members flexibility in how much money they donate for a membership. We currently have to provide dozens of membership levels in order to attain that, and everyone complains about having too many choices, yet they still want flexibility, and we want to provide that. We would love to be able to offer them ONE choice ("Enter your donation amount"). Possible? Or still off the table?

Membership levels do not have a variable pricing, only fixed fees. It has not been brought up before so I'll move this over to the wishlist.
There really isn't a workaround either because there are no variable fields that can be added to the Membership application. Only thing I can think of is set the Membership level free and collect the fees outside of Wild Apricot.
