Age of member
We would like an Age field calculated from the Date of Birth as we use Age of a member in competitions where there are groups for Age x and above, etc.
This field could then be used for queries such as Age > n, etc.
Also, a further enhancement, Age on date X. Where we have a closing date for entry to Events and we need to know the member's age on that date.
Regards,
Keith

Our organization restricts membership to ages 21 and above. Some people are under that age and were able to apply. We weren't aware until they showed up in person then we had to refund their payments. Please add the age restrictions to the member sign-up page. We really need this.

My road runners club needs this to filter on membership by age for age-graded results. Is this available or is there a work-around?

We are a membership-only dog park and we sometimes need to know the age of the dog (e.g. spay/neuter age requirements).

We would like an event registration available to only people who are a certain age or older. (example: 65+)
So the registration types should have age as an variable.
Registrant must be older than 18 and younger than 65 (so between two ages) or should be younger than 18 (for kids) or should be older than 65 (for seniors).Hans

YES! - I would expect many sporting clubs would have at least some age restricted membership levels (e.g. Juniors). Our tennis club certainly does. While it is good to be able to see a member's age, the membership level should be able to have an age restriction defined. Also, age restrictions are often defined 'as of a specific day of the year'.

yes - we are a retiree organization and we use age in different ways.. to move a member to a lifetime category as a gift when they reach a given age, also to analyze demographics for various reasons. A calculated age field would be a very good thing for us - we now need to export and use spreadsheets for the above.

the ability to add a field to the membership form that requires a potential member to enter a birth date in order to verify if they are eligible for a membership level (i.e. senior = age 62+).

We have a minimum age (18) to become a member in our Club. Would be great to reject a new membership application if that age wasn't reached. At the moment, I have to calculate ages via an Excel Export sheet.

Nothing special, just sitting here and collecting votes. No plans so far to implement it.

I echo Dale - my membership levels are age-based. Can someone tell me the status on this?

This is a feature that I need too. If the advanced search feature was robust enough to be able to search date range in one pass versus 2 (on or before + on or after) then I could get by with that... but this would be even better, to be able to identify age groups by a label, then members will retain a correct label as they age in membership.

This would be great for me. We have membership levels that are age sensitive and its easy to make a mistake and renew into a level which is no longer correct...
