Refunds from Wild Apricot
It would be great if I could actually submit a refund through the Wild Apricot system, instead having to post the refund to the member's profile and then going to the gateway to actually process the request.

What is the status of this? Either make using credits easier or make issuing refunds easier. This is ridiculous. We migrated to affinipay for integration and no progress has been made.

This was on the short list and part of the reason to use affinipay when we migrated 5 years ago. Any news?

You have stated in the past that there would be a better connection between Wild Apricot and Affinipay. Specifically, when we process a refund in WA it would be transmitted to and completed in Affinipay so we don't have to process the refund in both systems. What is the status?

Since WA can receive payments through PayPal, why can't it also manage refunding through PayPal (or any other payment service Wild Apricot supports)?

Paypal refunds were automatically recorded to Wild Apricot. WA should figure this out and have refunds automatically record to WA when processed at Affinipay. After all, I thought the upcharge was for outside processors that caused more work. Turns out the WA preferred processor is more work. Manual refunds in WA are time consuming as your system is so slow when waiting for each new screen to appear. PLEASE FIX THIS.

Automated refunds via Affinipay is shown on your website as "coming soon". When can we expect to see it?

Automating refunds - when a refund is processed in WildApricot, onwards processing that through the payment processor to the original form of payment - so that refunds don't have to be processed manually in the payment processor would be very helpful, reducing overhead and reducing errors (refunding in one place but to the other; refunding the wrong payment in the payment processor, etc.). We have moved to Stripe, and would love refunds to be automated into Stripe!

Definitely need to integrate refunds through AffiniPay with Wild Apricot. The member can sign up for an event seamlessly (WA w/Affinipay) - it only makes sense (as well as reduces confusion) for the cancellation to be handled identically.

Integrate refunds through AffiniPay with the account in WildApricot. PayPal did that for us.

This has been a work in progress for 6 months. Any update?

In an event when a contact pays their registration fee, then decides to cancel and ask for a refund, the refund is not automatically processed. This is creating quite a long paper trail for us. PLEASE HURRY!!

I would like Automatic Refunding to be implemented for Stripe.
