We need a "Read only" app so our members can access the member directory on their tablets and phones. (some don't even have computers anymore and rely solely on these devices) That would provide a value that many members could appreciate!

Allow the member community to download and access the mobile device application. This is how we would like to distribute our membership directory inquiry...

Create an app for members that accesses Member Only content, such as Event information - hotel, schedule, sponsors, speakers, attendees, etc., and maybe other convenient links, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Uber, and QR Scanner if easy.

Seriously wild apricot it's time to get an app out for our members to use. There have been several suggestions listed below that I agree with completely. My association would benefit greatly for this and several of them have been asking for it. We prepare an annual directory that is sent out to our members. Having it available online would alleviate all of that

WA, is there any update on this? I recall reading somewhere that a customisable app is due to be released in the first quarter 2016?

Need to have end user native apps for mobile devices that can be used by our members to communicate with our organization and with one another. I've been asking this for a long time...it is now almost 2016.

A mobile app for member use... for example register for events, pay dues, read news, etc...

1. App for paying for membership and registration for events without a high cost (via cell phones).
2. Push notifications (to cell phones).
3. Recorded telephone messages to remind members about meetings.

i would love to have an app that my clients could download and pay on their accounts, get reminders, check out an event schedule etc

Wild Apricot desperately needs to develop member-facing mobile apps. The administrative phone app is not enough. Our membership is getting younger and are not inclined to log into a website every time they want to communicate with other members or access other member resources. PLEASE PLEASE make this a priority in your near future business strategy.

I know this is a bit advanced - but would LOVE a non-intrusive "member app" with geofencing so our volunteers, staff and regular event attendees can be automatically signed in when they arrive.

Other inclusions in such an app could be a list of events the person has registered for, a map, a contact form, 'call us' and... :)

You already have an admin app, so what are you waiting for?

We would love to reduce the number of printed programs and attendee surveys we have to produce for our annual conferences. This could be quite a simple app - allowing registrants access to the program calendar, session descriptions, speaker biographies as well as a feedback form for each session and the conference as a whole.

We just started using WA and are getting ready to launch this to our membership. The ability for ALL members to have READ ONLY access to the member directory will be a key point in acceptance of this new system! Especially with the significant subscription increase this addition this WOULD be a major influence on continuing our subscription after our evaluation phase.

Exactly - and this is the problem for us too. We cannot submit ~15000 apps into App Store on behalf of each of our customer and then support them, update, etc. But we can submit 1 app, for everyone, with WA icon / logo. No way we can change the app icon.

Customization in general is possible, but only after a member logs in and the app knows what organization he belongs to. No on the first screen where he logs in and not the app icon on phone springboard.

It would be a problem. The app needs to be branded, just a simple logo and name would be fine.

For now, we decided against developing a mobile app for members and instead are working on responsive web site themes.

By the way, here is a question for you: would your members use Wild Apricot branded app? The app icon will be ours, the log in screen will be Wild Apricot too. Will it create problems for organization to market the app among your members?

This is now a must-have capability for our members, on IOS and Android. But it seems this has been kicking around Wild Apricot for some time and I don't see it on the Product Roadmap.
