Include Member ID in the renewal page
In the membership renewal workflow, when it gets to the page with the payment instructions, it would be good if the member ID is displayed. It would help me if we make it easy for people who are paying off-line (manual) to write their member ID on the check.
Are you talking about system auto-generated Member ID? If so, it is assigned to a new member as well - he can see it on the page before clicking on final Confirm button. So I can see no problem with having a note about Member ID in payment instructions.
Do I miss something?
It would help me if a member who is renewing and paying off-line (manually) writes their member ID on their check. I would like a way to have text suggesting this on the payment page of the renewal workflow. I currently have a note about this in the payment instructions, but that's not right because those same payment instructions are used for a member joining (who does not yet have a member ID). One way to solve this would be to have two different payment instructions, one for use when joining and one for use when renewing (and others for whatever other scenarios use payment instructions). Another approach would be to make it easy for me to add some custom text to the payment page that appears in the renewal workflow.
