Classifieds gadget (i.e. Job Board )
Current behavior:
Blogs or forums are repurposed to serve as classified ads/job boards, however they have serious limitations that prohibit them from being suitable solutions.
Desired behavior:
Self-service (e.g. searchable, browseable) classified ads system for members and visitors, with administration tools to moderate and manage entries/permissions.
Hi there!
With closing this thread I want to remind everybody that the Job Board product is available for all Wild Apricot customers with a paid subscription.
The application form is available on the 'Apps' page, in the main left menu.
Have a great day and happy new year!

 commentedI would like to see this progressed. It's a) great member benefit, a good way to remain engaged and active within a community, can lead new prospects to your website and your overall value proposition. Can I understand how far down or up the list this may be?

 commentedA Job post module which would allow the person purchasing the post to fill in all of the detail for the post. The admin would receive notification of the post for approval before the post goes live on the web. The posts should auto remove after a set number of days such as 30 days or 60 days. The admin should be able to pre-set the fees for posts determined by the type of member/non-member.

 commentedThis is a very important function for membership groups. Job posting is but one way that this system could help generate revenue to support groups.

 commentedPlease add a job posting function with the ability for the poster to enter their own discreet data fields and pay us for the posting. Our current blog work-around is labor intensive and complicated and it provides significant revenue to our association.

 commentedNeed a job board component!!! I see a bunch of others here who find it to be a need. This could make or break my association moving forward if there isn't something in place

      That's because there have been no progress so far.

 commentedSo what's happening with this idea of a Job Board gadget? I see lots of requests for it dating back to 2015 but no response or action from WA...

 commentedWe are an association of real estate Investors who have Properties for sale. This function could work to list Featured Properties. A form allowing Members to upload their own Properties would be great if it required certain fields and allowed for multiple pictures.

 commentedWe would love to explore the idea of having a jobs page. This is a good way to build rapport among other organizations as well as earn income (if we choose to charge for posting jobs). Do you see this as an option in future software upgrades? Thanks!

 commentedWould be ideal to have a form to assure sufficient information is collected for each help wanted or job wanted. For help wanted, should include:
 * Job title
 * Company name
 * Job location
 * Respond by date
 * Contact name and phone and/or email.
 * Job description (Perhaps split between Job responsibilities and Job Qualifications)
 and optional Salary rangeFor Job wanted, should include:
 * Name
 * Contact phone and/or email
 * Position type sought
 optional salary range

 commentedIt would be great to have a Career center, much like a blog page with job specific details in a form. Would be great if members could login to get member specific pricing while non-members would not be able to login and would pay more. This would be one feature that would really streamline our career postings process and help us gather member vs non member postings.

 commentedTo have a job posting page on our website with time limits. We enter in the duration the posting should be viewed by the public but the posting automatically disables after the closing date. Similar to how the Events Page works – at the conclusion of the event, the event becomes disabled.

 commentedFor a forum such as a job board, it would be very useful if individual posts could be classified or "tagged" according to the type of posting - in this example, internships vs. full-time jobs. That would allow forum users to filter to only those posts that apply to them. Desired functionality:
 1. Add a column to forums to indicate a category for the post
 2. Allow admins to set default categories for each forum
 3. Allow forum users to add categories as needed
 4. Allow forum users to filter forum posts by category

 commentedI'd like to see a feature that allows members to post a Job Seekers Profile, similar to something offered here on this website. http://andrewhudsonsjobslist.com/index.cfm?PID=805&ID=5020,18306,0
