HST Charges
HST must be charged on basis of where the product or service is provided. If we hold an event in Ontario then this needs to have 13% HST applied but the current system appears to use different locations (and rules) maybe based on address of customer, address of registered credit card??
The system does not comply with CRA guidelines at this point and needs to be fixed

Hi!Handling tax charges, like HST, can be a bit challenging, but utilizing a customizable payment solution can make it easier. We've implemented a flexible approach, such as using a white label payment gateway https://zift.io/white-label-payment-gateway-reseller/, which allows for seamless tax configuration based on the region. This has streamlined the overall process for both customers and the business, simplifying compliance and making day-to-day operations more efficient.

I second this, and it is astounding that Wild Apricot can operate in violation of Canadian tax regulations. This isn't something new, it's been in place for decades! I asked support about it on Feb 5 2024, but all I got back was a request for feedback on how support is doing! Suggestion: answer your support requests before asking for feedback.

This sounds completely reasonable. Indeed, we don't have such functionality as of now directly, but you can still setup default taxes for your products, tied to particular province/state tax regulations. This will work having that you operate from single province/state. For multiple provinces/states this is not possible yet
